i think i'm going to have to start another thread at some point with definitions. aussies shorten everything they can. chockies are chocolates. pressies are presents, cardies are cardigans, posties, postmen, etc etc etc.

maybe we can have a list from southerners, from POME's (Prisoners Of Mother England) - ducking the flames on that one!

and chook is chicken. i use that a lot. its an affectionate term

Malls, and outlet shopping centers mostly...  I just go for my lil one, my sibblings, or the walking most days as I already have way too much clothing...  I don't do most trends if they don't look good on my body, so I tend to stay with classic pieces and add cuteness when I find the right ones for me.
Homegoods for house stuff.   Torrid or online for fetishy things, of which I only have a few pieces as well.    M

don't say root. i was once rummaging in a bin (garbage can) to retrieve some soda cans for recycling. someone asked what i was doing - this was in a church mind you - and i said i was rooting for cans. there was a bit of a silence. fortunately she was a friend, and she said, do you know that rooting here means having sex??? well... i don't use it around others much anymore. hmmm that could be part of my pproblem perhaps?

and for god's sake, if an aussie asks you for a rubber - don't haul off and hit him/her. they've made a mistake in their paperwork and need a rubber (eraser) to rub it out! and the shrimp on the barby - knocks head on wall, its PRAWN on the barby.... nice, big, turgid, pink, swollen.... ahem. prawn.

I am not a big fan of shopping- i run to walmart for my kids, Target and maybe once in awhile a video game store or something...that's bout it

Hot Topic. some of their stuff fits right into play. laced corset tops. minis , high heeled mary janes, collars , cuffs they alsop give you a card that gets stamped for every $10 you spend then you can get free stuff. they're also online with good clearance items.DEBs has very slutty clothes and awesome high heels.

I go to Wal-Mart for daily crap and JC Penney. Homeland for groceries I want and I'm too impatient to drive all the way to Wal-Mart.
