So, how do you like your men to smell?

Went shopping for cologne for the first time in years based on something that She said to me, so I'm curious as to other opinions...

i tend to do crispier fresher scents for the day...and more musky spicy stuff in the evenings...

Thanks Spiral - I knew I was forgetting a class of scents, just couldn't remember which one it was

...and Boss was a close second to what I got instead... I liked it, but it just went kinda funky after about 15 minutes on me.

Obsession for Men, Grey Flannel the day after it is put on, and anything. I like when a man smells good. Just not over done.

I'm an absolute addict for a man that smells good. I like Hugo Boss as well, but generally as long as he has a scent that's "his", I'm happy.. such good associations involved, just a whiff or hint of the way he smells (when I'm involved with someone) can instantly calm me down and clear my head...

such a sensory slut...

I'm a scent freak and there isn't any bigger turn on than a well dressed man in a good suit and tie, button down shirt that smells oh so good. * I think I need to turn up the ac a few notches*. I love scent shopping with a man. Since no scent smells the same on every man I tend to ask for samples so that they can be taken home and a different one tried each day over a week. Some of my favorites however are...

Drakkar Noir
(some very wonderful old memories with that one. Smelling it always makes me smile inside)

Grey Flannel
No explanation needed there

Obsession for men
(The only scent I wear is Obsession as well)

Cool Water for Men by Davidoff
(Just a nice clean scent. Always reminds me of bedding that's been line dried in the sun for some reason)

Joop for Men
(I don't even know if this one is still made but I used to love it years ago.)

Although probably my favorite scent of all is simply the smell of Ivory soap fresh from the shower. Something about it just makes me want to get them nice and dirty LOL.

To answer the emails asking me the same question again and again:
There's a custom perfumer in the mall here, so they blended me up a slightly different take on the Abramelin that I usually use. The mix this time: 15p Cinnamon e.o., 3p Myrrh leaf e.o., 2p Myrrh resin powder, 10p Galangal e.o., 1p Sichuan pepper (citrix bud) powder. Nice and warm, very spicy, a little bit of the good funk from the myrrh, clean citrus edge... and definitely much more "me" than my usual scent.

The fact that reading the list (and typing it here) makes me hungry doesn't hurt either... ;)

To this day, I will still turn around and follow a man wearing Polo just to sniff!
It's an oldie but a goodie!

Drakar
Hugo Boss

But applied just light enough that you get a slight whiff as they walk by and a stronger whiff as you get very, very close...

I remember working at a gas station a few yrs ago, and I was working the cash resigter....a guy came up to me, and he smelled sooooooooooooo good, I couldnt focus on what he wanted to buy, I just stared at him and smiled...I wanted to climb over that counter so bad!!  Long story short, I left with him that night...I just love a good smelling man!!!

I want a man to smeel like a MAN. Cologue is fine, but His 'natural' scent will drive me out of my mind faster.

Yeah, you sound like a tart, Sprial, but you are a sexy tart, so I wont be too hard on you.

I adore a good smelling man.... something light that mixes with his natural scent is good. It really depends on the man. Call me crazy, but I will spend a lot of time imprinting a subs scent, spending a lot of time with my face around his neck and head :) I know, I am weird, but I like it.

I used to be nuts for Obsession for men until my Dad started wearing it. LOL
Hmmm I like a lil Old Spice, Cool Water, on certain men I like Joop, hrm... musks, woodsy and spicy scents (yeah I voted). Something just there enough to make me want to taste him, but not enough to know when he walked down a hall.

old spice will always remind me of my father so i rather a man didnt not wear it during playtime. i usually can smell a man's personal scent. i was suprised i could not smell any scent on Master. it was very disconcerting at the time. but its just another example of how unique this Man is.
