Looked through my responses on the shopping and drinking threads and realized that I'm a remarkably picky person with some things... Which got me to thinking: is being choosy about what you like more of a Dominant or Submissive tendency? Or does it matter at all?

in my experience with Daddy, both of us are picky

Pickiness is just a human trait. Some people couldnt care less what was on a label, or how something loke, was made... on and on. Others couldnt imagine not having it exactly just so every time

Well, true - but I think the label consciousness is a bit more culturally inspired than inherent in the thing itself or the consumer's tastes.

In my case, I know why I like the ratio of sugar to coffee that I do - flavor. The quantity preference - maintaining service temperature, because hot coffee should be hot. The roast - flavor again... Life's too short to drink something that doesn't make you happy.

The label thing, not so much. A Prada bag works only about as well as does one from Dollar Tree, for the most part...

I voted for 'neither'. There are loads of 'nillas that I know to be extremely picky & I (would like to) think I'm a pretty laid back, easy-going type of person.

I agree with DV...people in general are picky

Seems that being choosy about one would like or dislike is more a matter of personal tastes. It's possible having do minant tendancies would influence a person's choice in the sense thety absolutely won't settle for anything else but what they want. Chances are I could eb way off base witht his theory though this is only my thoughts!

Being picky is human, at least to me. I want what I want and I normally do not settle for less. Whether it be how I want my burger or what I want in an SO...Thats why I am still single after almost 2 years, though I think the single streak is ending...thank god.

I don't care how anything is, as long as it's my way!
