My heart goes out to all of you in London. Be strong.

Pretty much how my day started, too. I thought of dark~angel as soon as I came on the boards. My best wishes for everyone dealing with this insanity.

I am just completely thankful Demon returned home from there last night!

Thanks to M'Lady A and anthro -

Blair is now returning to London from the summit at Gleneagles after a very moving and strong speach he delivered, flanked by the leaders of the G8.

quote:

It's particularly barbaric that this has happened on a day when people are meeting to try to help the problems of poverty and Africa

Tony Blair

No news on who is responsible as yet, but it has been noted on a website used by al qaeda in the past, claiming responsibility - but that is just an alledged action at this time. Denmark and Italy have also been warned of future attacks.

Peace and Love

I just listened to a caller on a national radio program who swore up and down that he had inside information that it was joint CFR/Mossad false flag opperation.

I am glad you and Demon are safe. There is no protection against such attacks.

I will be praying for the recovery of the wounded.

After so much excitement yesterday over winning the bid for the 2012 Olympics this horrific tragedy takes full stage. My heart goes out to all those in the UK. When such an attack occurs, it is felt all over the country, not just one city. My prayers are for all of you!

But that's totally ludicrous.

I'd like to add I'm in the states. We feel it here as well. I just hope it doesn't affect the Olympic outcome at all.

So true - the whole country - and the whole world become affected.

The unity of the Olympics should not be lost, not forgotten. I know that the UK is stll eager to continue onwards with it's support and opens its arms to everyone to partake and come watch.

And the unity of the G8 summit shouldn't be in vain either - nor the focus of global pverty and the action that needs to be taken.

And the global warming and environmental issues that people are striving for to make this world last longer and become even more beautiful than it already is.

I know the UK is greatful to the world for all its support and I on a personal note (even though I am only an insignificant single person) thank every single person here whos just got everyone in the thoughts and prayers.

It just goes to show how unified the world really is, despite those that would wish to cause cracks...

Peace and Love

From what I hear it was an Al Quada attack and there are over 30 dead. Somebody bomb those losers back to the stone age already. My sympathies to A/anyone affected by these attacks.

Terrorists defy all comprehension. It irks me that the media and governments around the world don't spend more time focusing on their impotence and what it is that made them take this course instead of simply calling them names like barbarians or thugs. Somehow, they need to see that they will never succeed in stopping the world from changing around them. This seems to be their biggest complaint against everyone, even their own people.

They are making the classic mistake of thinking they can change the world to how they think it should be instead of adapting themselves to it. In the end, whether they get caught soon or die of old age in hiding, the only thing they will have accomplished is destruction. The men who hijacked the planes in the 9/11 attacks didn't go to paradise, they simply incinerated themselves and caused untold grief. The same with suicide bombers and the insurgents. All the people who've been beheaded or shot...all for nothing. None of what they do is going to stop what they're fighting against.

I wish there was some way for people around the world to tell them about their futility. Maybe eventually it would get through their wall of hatred.
