This is a toy i saw on youtube that a guy was building and making. It think the concept is great unfortunately he is way back in the marketing stages cause he want a patent.

I made a male chastity device out of Stainless Steel...
it would conduct 'lectrisity real good if ya hook it up to your car battery.
Damn my eyes are watering just thinking about it and I can't type anymore.

You can save yourself a lot of development time just by mounting a remote controlled field dog training unit on the chastity device. They're readily available and no development would be required (other than how/where to mount it). The intensity of the shock applied is adjustable on the remote control. People have been doing it for years using C-B Straps. All you have to do is remove the exsiting probes, drill the holes, and secure the device by reattaching the probes (the probes usally come in 2 lengths).

The one I have is made by Innotek, but there are other manufacturers too. The range on the devices are typically 50 to 100 yards, depending on the price paid for the unit.

Just when you thought you built a better mousetrap along comes someone that says it's been done already.

I delt with that in my last business for over 30 years and I'm sure it will never change. Altho the Internet sure made it easier to find out.

Thanks VadFarkas. I was an inventor of sorts for a number of years in the auto industry doing advanced design/development work and have a few patents to show for it. It is indeed difficult to show that what you've done is truly original and unique (there are some things that were probably patentable that I never submitted). Access to information via the net has made searches of existing inventions far easier than it once was.

I learned of these shock devices and how to use them via the net on a FEMdom mailing list called DOMestic about 7 years ago (now available via RSS as a blog at http://www.mschristine.com/DOMestic_Blog/). The devices continue to get smaller all the time. Mine is rechargable and has three intensity settings controlled by a remote that looks as innocuous as a small remote door unlock for an automobile. They used to make a model that had 7 intensity settings (that remote was a bit larger). I have no idea what's available now as I've simply not kept up with them. Mine is simply mounted to a plain CB strap. The probes are situated such that they rest & make contact with either side of my penis. Some prefer to mount them to the underside so they are on either side of the perineum, which in experience, produces much more intense of a sensation. On "low" it's not so bad and rather pleasant at times for me, depending on the quality of contact between my skin and the probes (I tend to like electrical play). On "medium", it definitely gets my attention. On "Hi", well let's just say that it's not something I'd want to experience very often. I've heard some men say it will drop them to their knees when applied at that level! I guess it's a case of the EPA's standard caveat "YMMV".

After loosing my job and having to write my first resume at 57 years old I did a search and found 12 patents I have. Of course they belonged to my former employers but non the less it is very frustrating coming up with something new. I knew of people that just look for a loophole in patents to make their living. Patents are so expensive now that most don't even bother due to all this.

I'd agree with you Vad. I used to get something like a $1200 bonus each time one was issued (initially there was none) and and a smaller one each time a patent application was filed. We had attorneys working for us that we'd hired away from the patent office to help work the system and get ours processed through it quickly. One of mine only took a year to go through!

As I said before, there were many things I did that I know we could have also gotten patents on, but as the rights all would have belonged to the company and I didn't really see the value in our patenting it (other than preventing the competition from using the same simple techniques obvious to me), the incentive wasn't there to put the effort into generating the notes and other things required to file. If your situation was as I suspect anything close to mine and others I know, I had become another commodity the company felt they could purchase like nuts & bolts they used to build cars. When you're treated like a common commodity, after a while, you don't feel inspired or motivated to do the creative things that "nuts & bolts" can't do for the same price you've been valued at.

There's very little I'd try to patent today unless it was really groundbreaking work. Even then I'd make certain the patent was broad enough to cover all the variations and improvements I could envision one potentially making later on mine, otherwise it would be worthless and unenforceable for exactly the reasons you cite.

Needless to say, I'm happy to be away from that business and doing other things I enjoy.

Me too my friend... me too.
Altho I was paid very well and had a lot of perks due to the competition wanting to hire me away. Now I'd have to move to China.

Edit to add: My best bonus was $16,000. I sure miss that!!!!!

We've been doing it with the remote dog shock collar for some time. I modded it a bit...took the collar off and attached leads to the two outputs. Then soldered a penny to one end of a piece of wire. And then got the static discharge band from radio shack and removed the 1meg resistor.

Then added round lug connectors to the ends of the wires and attached them to the shock box. Taped the penny (shined it up first!) to the underside of the glans. Then put on a ball stretcher and taped the band around the balls.

Stuck the unit on a cellphone carrying case on my belt and Mrs. Crush can call, or at least let me know she's thinking of me.

A bit different in how it feels (dc vs. ac) and features.
plus I wanted a cute remote control.
I am now working on embedding that in jewelry. required space is only 1 or 2 cubic cm for all necessary parts + battery.
