According to an article by Dahlia Lithwick,
jurisprudence: The law, lawyers, and the court the government has settled a case involving two Texans, Jeff and Nicole Rank, who wore anti Bush T-shirts at a July 4th Event in West Virgina in 2004. The Ranks were attending an Open to the Public, taxpayer, Bush Speech. The White House had the couple Arrested, Nicole who works for fema was also suspended. all for wear anti bush t-shirt. The settle will cost the taxpayers $80,000.00 that will be paid to the Ranks as compsation. My big compliant is why do the tax payers have to pay let the White house staff and bush.

What's the question? Why are the tax payers having to pay when it's the White House staff and Bush who should be paying?

Is that the qusestion you are asking?

Tax payers pay for two reasons.

1. Our taxes pay there salary, upkeep, budget balance, along with the settlement can court fees relief fund.

2. The majority voted for the tax payer to pay. All our politicians that we've voted for have passed bills allowing them to pull from a pot to cover goverenment related cost before ever having to pull from there own pocket.
