during play this morning, got my face slapped[:o] for the first time.

this was another example for me, how i my fantasy of a act, did not match the reality!
i had thought that id be fuming if someone tried this on me, yet found myself, id say about 6 yrs of age! I felt like a little girl. It was bloody bizzarre! Then as we carried on, i put it to one side and got on with enjoying the rest of the play, and suddenly he did it again. Again, the same response, i went into submission futher.

This sending me from and between two states of submission, his slut, to meek, submissive little one was awesome. And very confusing at the time.

Im wondering how others reacted to this type of play. It is something i guess you/i may become desensitised to in time, but what happened within your headspace, when you were slapped for the first time and since?

Face Slapping

For me face slapping is always intense, always humiliating and always breaks me down very quickly. I actually consider it one of the edgier forms of play.

I have to agree with Emerald here. It is one of the quickest ways to break me down. To allow him to do that to me was a incredable feeling of being Dominated. It also got me so wet I was scared of myself. As for the age reversal..well I like that anyway so I can't help you much there

i think, that the age reversal is a phrase that POSSIBLY explains the feeling i had, im not sure, its only hours away, so im still mulling it over?

Also known as age regression. I got into little girl headspace last night, it was fun, unexpected and all good.

Sometimes it can be negative, violent, a flashback, taking you back to a bad situation.

And sometimes it can be positive, sweet, vulnerable, caretaking.

And sometimes it's just intense and confusing and swirling and fabulous.

Hah, I used to have simple rules. One of them was "not in the face. AND THAT MEANS EVERYTHING."

One day, while messing around, I cracked an inappropriate comment and he backhanded me. I stood there for a second with my hand on my cheek, my eyes really wide... and started giggling uncontrollably.

Actually, face slapping was where I learned to re-examine my limits. It's very powerful, not just in the dominant sense, but in a sensation manner. I find that if I'm edging on sensory overload, a good smack in the face is really grounding. Now it's a requirement! [;)]

I went to work one day with a bruise on my jaw... my boss started to ask me if I needed help, a safe place, etc. So that was a little bit embarrassing. I had to learn to rein it in at that point.

i've never been slapped PERIOD in my life. i do however wonder what it would feel like in play and often fantasize about it.

I love everything about what I call "primal" play. Which for me includes face slapping, punching and kicking,anger play, and blood letting. It allows me to let go and dance with the beast, a very comfortable place for me :).

It makes surrender so much sweeter for me, it humbles me, it makes me revert to something primal, it makes me fight for survival, most of all it makes me feel alive.

in all of my life, i've never been slapped in the face but once - by my mom, at 17, when i very cheekily told her that she was more like her mother (whom she despised) every day. She hauled off and was going to hit me - i blocked it. She got even more pissed, and I put my arm down and deliberately let her hit me the second time.

I've honestly no idea if it's something my Dominant would like to explore ... though honestly, given the sheer number of bar fights He's been in, and the size and weight of his hands, i seriously wonder if it would cause a lot of damage.

I age regress as well with face slapping.
For a while I was concerned that this might bring up issues of my prior abuse- so I held off on violence.
After a while I came to terms that the desire to be humiliated, degraded, etc. when in combination with passive but ever present love and caring could work well for me. I also realized that some of the books I had read were (in my mind) wrong- I don't enjoy sex (or intimacy, or relationships) this way because of what has been done to me in the past. I enjoy these things because of who I am- because -I- enjoy them. It was a marvellous thing to realize.

As earlier posted, health and safety are a must with face slapping- and I feel it is something a master should practice (Like flogging) for the safety of his sub/bottom/whatever. I feel comfortable calling most slapping edgeplay. I also feel it should (primarily) be kept in the realm of humiliation rather than sheer pain. The face is simply not a good place to beat.

While damage can happen if the Top goes at things like he is a bar fight. You truly do not do bar fight punching. Most start out by tapping the face, increasing the weight behind it. Man works out everyday with weights, he has incrediable arms and strength, and in 6 years he has not broken or bruised my face.

He slaps with a fair amount of weight ....my best advice start with taps and work up, it is more of a shock to the system for me and others I have talked to then for pure pain and injury, in a bar fight you are looking to do damage to your opponet.

MMMmmmm...this happened to me for the first time Thursday. My sir was at my house to play computer games with my subbie (husband/sub) and i forgot to ask permission before I sat down at the table. I got my face lightly slapped....the word here is lightly....I had always told him I would never want it slapped, so we set it as a discipline measure only. Well....I actually smiled! (and he didn't miss that...) I was very suprised that I liked it!! It kinda made him say hmmmm a bit himself. Later in the evening, we experimented with a bit more....punching, ect...hard to explain and make it not sound wrong...(i am a masochist though, so make sure your line of comunication is open before doing something like this) but we definately found yet again something I love to do...be used!!

Face slapping for me is something I can only handle every once in a while. However, I do enjoy it on a few different levels when it happens. I had discussed face slapping with a previous dominant long before he tried it. It was always something I was unsure about. I had never been physically abused so I didn't have those feelings but I suppose I had some perceptions that weren't entirely true. Anyway, when he did it the first time, I was stunned of course. That was my initial reaction. A few seconds later, tears welled up in my eyes, not from the pain; that was nothing really. It was the humiliation that did it, well and a little confusion. I don't recall any age regression, buit I have spoken to many who do.

I am not one who likes much humiliation play, but I've found that I do crave it every now and then. It's incredibly intense and provides a certain type of release that I haven't found in other forms of play.

I find that you don't have to slap hard to just to get a good jolt. I enjoy the feeling myself. I think it also makes for good humilitation. It will also hurt less if you roll with the slap. Resisting it, isn't a good idea. I think that face-slapping just has a bad rap precisely because it is such a humbling action.

I had always had face slapping as a hard limit for myself.
But one day during a very intense sexual scene, my face was slapped (not hard), any rate it happened and I didn't freak, it was okay..
always learning about myself[:)]

this slave would imagine that if Master ever slapped her as a reaction to an "inappropriate" comment, it would probably send her headspace back to a time when she was involved with an abusive uncaring (vanilla) jerk who would "lash out" with a boxing punch to the eye or jaw when he didn't like what he was hearing.

however, this slave has had her face slapped during an intense scene and it was very exciting and humiliating.......guess it's all in the context.

I still have no face slapping as a hard limit ..but after reading these relys i may have to rethink that (lol)
