curious. The past 4 months mail into the USA has seemed slow. Is it me? Is it the postal service? [rate increase=possible cutbacks] Is it customs? I talked to a good friend of mine in Chicago. As it turns out the poisened cat food killed her cat. China dares to say US import to China are riddled with pesticides. TO which I say take your best shot! Lets end this race to the bottem. Ild brush my teeth this morning but not sure that I want antifreaze in my mouth!!! So whats the deal? anyone else experiencing slow mail?

I have to say, no. I got a birthday card from my mother two weeks ago (she's currently in France) and my birthday's on Sunday: I'd say that was definitely fast lol :-)

It has always been slow. Unless of course it is a single letter. Those seem to move a bit faster. Anything bulkier like a package it always takes weeks upon weeks.

ok- eye glasses from hong kong. a camera from Canada. tablets from both sides of the oceans.... which would be maybe 3 ounces. it all is over 1/2 ounce. but under 16 ounces. it could be my towns mail. we dont reciece mail till almost 6 pm some days. 11:20-12:30 in my previous town. earlier mail- it is easier to make calls to question charges rather then wait a day. i found it is very hard to change ones address on some items. this state here- has a 'supplement" one carries to denote ones new driver license adress. i want to pay the fee and have it on the one card! but i still am trying to figure out how to do so. some entities wont recognize the 2 form ID! Icalled my state rep to discuss this--- so far no luck.

I ordered a gift for someone for their 55th birthday from Ireland and it took about a week to get here. And good luck to anyone who buys or uses anything made in China! All the crap comming out of that country is full of lead or other poisons! Even baby's bibs from China have high concentrations of lead in them! I won't buy anything from China anymore! You could buy clothing and be poisoned from it, nevermind food! Toys, tires (tyres) whatever, if it's made in China not only is it junk it's now also dangerous!

stuff from China has long been junk. but now it is dangerous. arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!
