Termyn8or -> RE: Remote/Digital Chastity Belts? (8/24/2007 6:53:56 AM)

Do you mean to unlock ? Neosteel has a remote education shield, but that does not unlock the belt. Assuming you are talking about unlocking, there are several problems to be overcome, and I actually think I can do it. I am not much of an engineer but I am one, self taught, not official. Unfortunately to describre my idea is going to require a bit of technical jargon. Here goes. A CB must be waterproof, and so must the electronics. I will try to be "layman descriptive" here. Did you ever see how an electric car charges ? It is an inductive thing. The thing you stick in the car's socket contains a coil of wire which forms the primary of a transformer when inserted, the coils around the opening serve as the secondary. The AC induced is rectified and provides the charging current for the batteries. Doing it this way it is not only impervious to the environment, it is also not going to electricute anyone unless it is faulty. The energy is transferred by magnetism, not by an electrical connection. The way I see it, a CB must use a similar approach to the design. The electronics can be totally sealed so the wearer can bathe etc. If not, after a while, say if you put a USB-B port on it, in time it will corrode and you'll need power tools to get out, which wrecks the CB. The simplest way is via tuned circuits, say dual frequency detection, and a gate, so that both frequencies must be present to unlock. This could be totally passive and basically the mechanism would be powered by the "key". And the key can be prevented from activating by any number of means. It wouldn't be all that hard to make a small circuit board that requires a certain pulse train to open, this would provide unique signals for different CBs. Coupled with two frequencies required, it would be pretty tamper proof. A small circuit board encased in epoxy would do it. Just the pickup coil would need to be accessible, but not really visible so much, just somewhere the magnetic field can get to it. I have corresponded with a few people on this, and while the ideas never got off the ground, alot of good ideas have been tossed around. Then the problem becomes how to stop people from using cutting tools. For a male this is not hard, a ball trap will suffice. Have a look at chastitysteel's CS100. Cutting the waistband does not get you out. Unfortunately there is no corresponding method to use on females. The only option would be a deterrent, but unlike a ball trap, it would have to be nasty, like something in the belt that would catch fire or explode or something like that. That is not acceptable really. Although it has been discussed. A combination of magnesium, rubber and who knows what else would work. There are different cutting bits for different materials, and nothing can cut everything, well, almost nothing. So having explored this, if you get a secure enough CB, a remote controlled keysafe should be the best answer. This is not the question exactly, because the CB would not be remote or digital, but it seems to be the best solution. A friend on another forum sent me a William Jones CB, absolutely free. It would take alot of work to get it to fit, but I still appreciate it. Thing is, he sent me four keys, three of them in one of those real estate lockboxes. All I would have to do is put it on and either send him the key or destroy it. I would then need the conbination to get out. Fungasm, having expressed this, you might be interested in this : http://members.aol.com/zzyzzwicky2/eg01.doc If you're not into reading alot and/or scifi, just scroll down to "The Appliance" in BIG letters. It is fiction, but with the question you asked I think you might like reading it. Of course the technology does not yet exist to build the thing, but as a forward thinker I let my mind go wild, even inbibed in a few intoxicants. But it is quite descriptive. In that story, the command for a release time and dat is loaded by software, and the it is set, there is no way to change it. It can also do "at will" mode where the ersatz keyholder has to put a password into the computer to unlock the wearer. That appliance has all kinds of features, spikes, heat, cold, shock, I don't even remember the rest, even though I wrote the story. Note : That story should be read while wearing a chastity belt. Have one ? If you decide you like it there is more, but I am not going to foist it upon you unless you want it. The main problem with today's technology is miniturization. Look at a Neo CB, it is sleek and thin. Anything like this adds bulk, even if CBs were mainstream it would be difficult to get it small enough not to show any bulk. For folks like us, who don't own Sony or Mitsubishi, it would be even worse. I am, however, sure that it can be done. So may I ask if you own, wear, or hold a key to a CB ? Or is your interest more academic ? Your turn now. Be well. T
