quote:
ORIGINAL: TallDarkAndWitty A Master loves what unconditionally? His slave? His fellow man? His mother? Unconditional love is a ridiculous notion that has nothing to do with being a Master. Taggard Unconditional love isn't a ridiculous notion - most parents would understand this. My love for my daughters is. It isn't about what they do, or the choices they make - no matter how mad they ever made me, or right or wrong I thought they were in their choices - they are my babies. They will always be my babies, and I love them without a conduct or choice conditional. I have a few friends from the military who I feel no matter what, no matter what they did, I will always love them - it is the nature of our relationship - men who I have shared privation and hardship with in a way that bonds us in agape love. I have not been put to the test in this - but I know a few of whom I can say my love is not conditional. Assocaition, contact perhaps - but not love.
