[:-] I can see the 'end', and a cute one it is, but I didn't see any thread... well not any single or loose ones. [sm=banghead.gif]

Passion, I posted the girl with the red bottom today, Wednesday / Hump Day.
I try and post a new photo every day. Unfortunatly I can't store them on my webpage,
so when I change the url for the current PoD it changes the previous photo as well.
If you go back even one day the posts won't make sense.
Sorry for the confusion... maybe it's time to end this thread.

You cant end this thread....I love this thread. I love to see what new pic you have each day. I have never had any problems with it. Its just the people that dont understand how it works that seem to have the problems.

GreedyTop -> RE: Photo of the Day (2/27/2008 10:10:40 PM)

yeah! what sub03 said!

VadFarkas -> RE: Photo of the Day (2/28/2008 7:04:20 AM)

Thanks for the support and the donated photos, it is appreciated. This morning I had to give blood at the VA Hospital. I didn't take any pictures.Instead here is one off the net. The procedure was exactly like this....http://www.ringofsteel.net/images/pod.jpgWith the exception that the nurse didn't look like this or did I for that matter.Actually it didn't look like this at all, I just thought you'd rather see this.

VadFarkas, great advice, however it's now changed to a wait and see attittude, until end of April.
Whatever course is taken i'll always mark the 'good knee' as suggested.

I do like this one ...

Good Luck JulieorSarah!

Yesterday I was trying to do shop work and email with a customer. I had
the saw running while I was up here on the computer. I smelled something
burning and ran downstairs. The garage was full of smoke and the fire
alarm went off. What happened was the saw blade stalled but the motor
kept running and the friction melted the rubber belt. I had to explain
that I caught a rag on fire to the alarm company and call off the fire
dept. The whole house smells of air freshener and burnt rubber sorta
like a citrus truck full of migrants took a wrong turn and crashed at
the drag strip. Not entirely a bad thing for an old gearhead! [:D]
Today's Photo is a bad one from my camera phone of a buddy doing a burn-out to go along with today's theme. http://www.ringofsteel.net/images/pod.jpg

Sometimes i talk my self into a corner, or as a friend advised on many occasions.  When you are in a hole, stop digging!

all I wanna know is how did they get that poor critter out??

VadFarkas -> RE: Photo of the Day (3/5/2008 5:46:06 AM)

Today's photo and story is especially for GeedyTop One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well that the farmer had
accidentally left uncovered. The animal cried piteously for hours as the
farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal
was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway, so it just wasn't
worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed
a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey
realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's
amazement he quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He
was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his
back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and
take a step up.
As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal,
he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was
amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily
trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to
getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of
our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells
just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.
Now, most people think that's the end, but it isn't.
The donkey later came back and bit the shit out of the farmer who had
tried to bury him. The gash from the bite got infected, and the farmer
eventually died in agony from septic shock.
So the real moral from today's lesson?
When you do something wrong and try to cover your ass, it always comes
back to bite you.
