Today's photo is of me bending a 1/2 inch custom collar half out in the back yard. My wife did not want me to do this, so I waited until she wasn't home. I had to do this in the yard because I don't have room in the shop to swing the 4 foot pipe extension needed to bend the solid Stainless Steel rod. Our daughter came by just in time to take a series of pictures. All went well, now I have to bend 11 more halves. I wonder if this is what Archimedes meant when he said "Give me a place to stand and a lever long enough and I will move the world."

When i was a teenager (and still vanilla) i'd check out peoples book cases ... it would tell you volumes about them. Now days it's DVD collections ... and as i'm no longer a teenager, most of my peers have been in their domestic environment for some time, if not years/decades ... you can learn alot from images of people in 'their environment'. I like what i see ... in your photo ... but then we already new alot from someone who posts a new photo almost daily for as long as you have, because you know we all love it, they entice any and more of the following ... a smile, giggle, an outburst of laughter, an intake of breath ... an idea for next time with their one ... why or how did they do that? ... and so it goes.

Thank you JulieorSarah, I have sent folks photos of my cluttered shop in
the past and they have written back that they enjoyed seeing what all
was in there, so you are not alone.

Lynnxz, I started a Kodak album and will add pictures as I go along. I
have a lot of pictures but no album of the sequence. I made a few 1/2
thick collars and the customers I made them for liked them so much a few
ordered more, like this one. But I struggled to bend them in the shop,
it was much easier outside. Here is an old photo of one of those earlier
ones placed inside a 3/8 magnetic collar to show the difference in
thickness. I have one customer that wrote me yesterday that he likes the
1/2 and now wants one even bigger, so I sent him the photos I have so
far. He said I need a better place to stand, a bigger tree stump and a
longer pipe and then I can make him a thicker one yet. hahaha

Vendaval posted some pictures of people in the background stealing the show.Here is the opposite happening, someone in the foreground stealing the show.Note the two clowns in the background that up to then probably were the show.
