If I were his helper I would be using a longer, heavier hook than that! But then, I prefer using a hook any time I deal with snakes.

Here is a photo of our Burmese Python, Excalibur, the one that bit my wife. Today's Stupid Human Trick photo is because we are fighting a Yellow Jacket invasion. Luckily it's not this bad but they are all over including my shop.
