hahaha Yes you are right, too close to shore for an artificial reef.
Another photo I posted, of the light house, was taken from a 38 foot cruiser
that my friend ran on some rocks .9 mile off shore. He thought the same
thing, as did the Coast Guard. It was many thousands of $$$ damage.
There was no buoy to make the rocks that were only 3 feet under water.
Anyway, he called me and we idled the boat to another harbor that had
dry dock facilities for repairs. It was quite a new adventure for me.
I'm at an age where everything reminds me of something else. [:D]
