Dear MasterMagnus321, Ladies and Gentlemen; One can always learn from everybody. I would suggest looking to see if there is a MaST Chapter in your area. (MaST means: Masters and Slaves Together), the BDSM Support and or Education Groups. In addition, do consider please, attending conventions where many presenters are proffered and workshops often given. Another consideration to entertain, would be attending an Academy style weekend, such as Buchman's or Master Taino's Training Academy. Books are helpful however, it needs to be mentioned that the book usually is with the author's personal experiences, knowledge and or research. I highly recommend Jay Wiseman's books from S&M 101; Screw the Roses by Master Phil Miller and Molly Devon -- Although Master Phil passed away too soon in life, the book is a good book for beginners and looks at many angles. For Bondage, the "Book of Knots" is full of a variety of knots--very helpful. Web sites are also filled with information. Iron-Rose.com has a Library section which has presenters of all sorts write on topics. FrugalDomme.com is another resource avenue. In addition one can often 'Google' BDSM terms and pull information. Special Interest Groups, also known as SIGs may be listed in Yahoo Groups to which may narrow your focus to where you wish to seek information. Some presenters work a 'circuit' per se, visiting groups on the way back home as to share their skills and knowledge, since they have to pass by anyway. People have at time pooled their resources, such as a few BDSM or MaST groups join in the effort to have an presenter that they couldn't obtain in a single group fashion. Just some thoughts. Respectfully submitted for consideration, Lady Hugs
