3 cheers!! I am ABSOLUTETLY SO excited!! Oh good lord am i! God bless America, God bless everyONE of you. This is a giggling event. I just went on and on to my friend, but she's sleeping (with yim on.... the slut) so that wasnt like too exciting. Not many else will understand and i feel the need to shout from the roof tops. So ahem, i will, because i can.

BUT

I've FINALLY, oh FINALLY been "released" After i dont know how long of trying to make it go that way! God Damn right about time! Yay ME! Yay me yay me yay me yay me yay me. i've got the text message saying "fine i'll take the collar off" and i am saving it so he cant try and reverse the decision on me. Woot woot. I've wanted it, asked for it, tried to force it and every damn time he's found a way to "convince" me to back down.

Nanner nanner boo boo i am FREE. FREE. Yup thats right. I'm going to have privacy and i'm going to STOP giving it away for NO return. Because its all mine. NO more biting my ya ya! No more threats of piercing my ya ya again! NO MORE telling ME what to do when you cant run your own life! No more no more no more no more no more! No more!!!!!! Heh.

Ah ha! <cough cough> My apologies for being myself, i'm overly excited. I have waited for this event for over a year, side stepping all the evil consequences of what would happen instead of being released.

Patience...... it wins every time. Yall dont know me, but i dont care........ cheer for me anyways! Say "She DID IT!" Yay ME!

So anyways, excitement aside. Its kind of sad............. and its kind of scary........but damned exciting.

hey hey i know its terrible. But it works for me! Damn straight it does. Ya could call me a pansy and say "it should of been face to face" but then i'd call me an idiot to do it that way. Cos it hasnt worked face to face in the past year.

i am NOT submissive anymore. Newp! IMO - BDSM is a great thing for a great many people, but for me it is not a healthy life choice. I apparently make very very bad decisions in this area....... and i do not make the same mistake twice. Like i said in an email ( i know.. pansie... but w/e) to him...... him telling me to do as he says is like saying.... "continue being an idiot and shoot yourself in the foot"

Its unfortunate that i will never be in another bdsm relationship........ but it is the consequences of my mistakes.

And you forgot to cheer Em.

So you definitely aren't going to make the same mistake of being convinced to be owned again and having to erase journal entries and ignore the "free days" when you made lots of disparaging remarks about him?

I think it's great if you really have found the path for you and feel true to yourself and I'm sorry it's been so painful to get there- but you understand my skepticism after so many failed attempts followed by a lot of barbs thrown at people (like me) in the past who tried to point out these issues.

Unless i'm missing something.....if you are THAT unhappy in a relationship, you tell him its not working and move on....i guess i don't get the big "woo hoo i'm finally released now" thingy.....

Just whom does he/she think will relate to that, or to deliberately agitating for release for a year?

Made more sense to explain this to the sleeping room-mate.

Yep I agree. If you're not happy in BDSM, why on earth did you "wait" to be released??? Shouldn't you have just walked away? And why announce it like this on here to a bunch of bdsm'ers LOL - wow that is so strange. If you're not into BDSM I cannot understand why you didn't just end it....... confused

This is some comical stuff. She's all giddy with excitement after waiting a year to get a text message for release, and then crows about how this means she isn't submissive anymore. Of course, if she really wasn't submissive anymore, she wouldn't have waited for the text message.

This reeks of instability, and I think she should seek psychological help instead of group hugs on a message board. Without that, I bet that after the mania wears off, it will be just a matter of weeks until she's on her knees to somebody else.

Well, I'm very pleased for her, and it's nice to see someone so happy, but I think I'm missing something.

If you hate what you're doing, and it's wrong for you, why don't you just walk away? If you want to be released... then release. Go. Why wait for a year?

please refill your scripts, it appears you have been sitting at the pc waiting to be told to do things by someone whom you didnt wish to do them for in excess of a year, therefor you have ran out of much needed drugs that kept you in the realm of reality, with the statements about piercing. ( No more threats of piercing my ya ya again!) and you not realizing unless it was something you consented too, it wasnt going to happen......

step away from the computer and call a shrink.
