This is on the right track, but depending on how your body works, a better approach may be to edge yourself a few times a day.  Edging is bringing yourself to the brink of orgasm and then stopping whatever stimulation you're using so that orgasm subsides without release.  Do this for a few weeks and your load (and anticipation for release) are likely to build.

Important note:  blue balls (a painful ache in your balls from lack of release) may or may not be a side effect of this.

A quick Google search reveals that Spencer Quest, who's apparently a porn star, swears by the stuff- enough that he's a spokesman for them. The only way to know if it works, though, would be to pick up a bottle.
