i am a middle aged straight, happily married guy with a haircutting fetish.  Seeing a beautiful woman shorn, or having my own hair cut, is a major turn on.   The more hair cut off, the more exciting.  For many years, mrs. happy has indulged my interest, but has gotten to a point in her own life where she feels the fetish is more of an imposition on our intimate life than a positive. 

However, it has been part of our intimate life long enough that she also does not want me to share it outside our relationship, so I am effectively closeted, even though I am at a point where I would like to be a bit more 'out' about it in the 'real' world as well as on-line. 

Thank god for the internet... for many years i thought i was alone in this fetish, at least I know now that I am not as weird as I thought. 

One issue is that a major haircut can happen only so often.  And for a professional middle aged guy, it is hard to justify radical appearance changes that would be perfectly normal for a woman.

The ultimate fantasy would be for my wife to take me to a barber shop with an attractive and domineering female barber, and telling her to shear off my thick (although now graying) curls.  Or to find a long haired woman who needs the same.  In the meantime, I would love to find people who would like to explore this kind of fantasy via chat or whatever. 

Any thoughts or advice?

We've done the wig route.  It's fun play, but in a limited way.  While it definitely satisfies the visual, the tactile is all wrong, at least for the wigs we can afford.

aside from a complete lack of "style" and a complete lack of physical coordination...

besides, this fantasy isn't about actually doing something for somebody else, it is rather selfish for my own enjoyment.

I like to hear about fetishes and am glad you shared one of yours. I  wanted to ask you if you had thought about being a hairdresser, but Equaticsub asked first.

If you went to hairdressing school, maybe you could volunteer for the group (aack, what's it called?) that cuts long hair for cancer victims?

Then take your turned on self back home, and make your wife happy?

thanks for all the feedback.  i've been a part of the on-line hair fetish scene as long as there has been one, so those links are all things I am familiar with.  If anyone wants others I can provide them.  I came here looking for the d/s side of things.  I would be happy to be in contact with anyone who finds these ideas... intriguing.

One of my "Fave Four" has a hair cut fetish.  He has expressed how much he yearns to cut my hair off.  I told him he would never be allowed in my presence with a pair of scissors... or any other sharp instruments.  I don't trust ANYONE that much!  But then, you have to realize just how obsessed I am about my hair.

i too have a fetish that includes anything really to do with hairdressing and a salon. Currently i have a desire to be a personal hairdresser to a Domme however i have no official trainign, i would like some to be able to do things right.

I don't really see much D/s in your fetish though. You already stated that it's really a selfish one and you don't desire to do it out of service. I know you mentioned in the first post a "domineering" female barber. I don't know, it just sounds confusing. You enjoy the fetish soley for yourself and even in the stated fantasy the "domineering" woman is being told by you to to do the shaving.

NOW... I get it!  All those hair stylist that loved to cut my hair too short! Damn I am a slow learner!  I say just an inch or two and they get four...  Now I just go in very determined and they behave... I have taken my hair down to a quarter inch and could carry the look when younger... even learned you never let your boyfriend cut your hair... well when he has a jealous thing... but anyone even suggesting I cut my hair now... is going to be watched like a hawk and bound while I sleep!
