MasterWood -> New group for disabled kinky folks & those who appreciate them (7/10/2005 12:40:52 AM)

I have started a group for those with disabilities and those who enjoy people who are disabled. The group is not your standard disabled support group, but a group dedicated to those who choose or are interested in an alternative lifestyle. This Includes B.D.S.M., bisexual, try-sexual, gay, lesbian, transexual, transvestite, curious, poly, or anything considered "Alternative."

Some people are open minded about disabilities, however many are not comfortable with the alternative lifestyle issues, which causes another stigma: can a disabled person be kinky??? This will be a safe environment for all to discuss and meet others without condemnation or ridicule. Discussion, ads looking for another mate, stories, photos are all welcome.
I am male with a disability (C7 para) and enjoy the BDSM lifestyle.

Check it out at:

PS: This group is for promotion of Safe, Sane and Consensual Adult activities and relationships

ahem. Not to be a misery-guts or anything but (I.M.H.O) people have -more- of a problem with disability than BDSM. Sorry,to say this because Ive "met" a lot of really nice people on here, but even in this lifestlye (renowned) for it's tollerance, people seem to shy away from disability-you start talking to someone, they find out you have a disability and they vanish. Over and over again, and if I wasnt in a wheelchair Im sure Id be seen as more "conventionally" attractive.

Also, Id bet money that if I were able-bodied id at least get -some- replies to messages Ive sent. I wouldnt mind if they were rude, agressive or just plain sarcastic. Just something to prove I was being -seen- and that I existed.
