Hello,
I am looking for some good Male Dominant or Female Submissive music. By Male Dominant, I mean where a Male will sing about subjects pretaining Dominating, the opposite of Placebo and Nine Inch Nails, but much the same genre (no hip-hop/dance/r 'n' b). By Female Submissive, I mean the opposite of Male Dominant, where a Female will sing about subjects pretaining to Submission.

I like Placebo and Nine Inch Nails, but when I hear it I can't help but wish they were Female. I'm looking for some help in looking for this sort of music, since there is so much music out there. I prefer Rock and Roll/Grunge and Industrial/Alternative (like Placebo and Nine Inch Nails (If that is what they are classed as)), but I am open to any suggestions.

Edit:
This might not be for this Forum. If it isn't anyone who can move it to the appropriate Forum, I would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Fedirate

Hmmm, the best D/s music I know, with those criteria are:

Male Dom:

Under My Thumb - Rolling Stones. "It’s down to me, oh that’s what I said / The way she talks when she’s spoken to / Down to me, the change has come, / She’s under my thumb"

Female Sub:

Misguided Angel - Cowboy Junkies.

"Misguided angel hangin’ over me
Heart like a gabriel, pure and white as ivory
Soul like a lucifer, black and cold like a piece of lead
Misguided angel, love you ’til I’m dead.

I said ’brother, you speak to me of passion
You said never to settle for nothing less
Well, it’s in the way he walks,
It’s in the way he talks
His smile, his anger and his kisses"

Ways to Be Wicked - Lone Justice.

I can take a little pain
I can hold it pretty well
I can watch your little eyes light up
When you're walkin' me through hell
Yeah I've been your fool before babe
And I probably will again
No you ain't afraid to let me have it
Honey you ain't afraid to stick it in

You know so many ways to be wicked
But you don't know one little thing about love

Those are the three D/s song with thoughtful lyrics (maybe the later is D/s with an SM focus) that I can think of right now.

Depeche Mode - Master and Servant

It's a lot
It's a lot
Like life

There's a new game
We like to play you see
A game with added reality
You treat me like a dog
Get me down on my knees

We call it master and servant
We call it master and servant

It's a lot like life
This play between the sheets
With you on top and me underneath
Forget all about equality

Let's play master and servant
Let's play master and servant

It's a lot like life
And thats what's appealing
If you despise that throwaway feeling
From disposable fun
Then this is the one

Domination's the name of the game
In bed or in life
They're both just the same
Except in one you're fulfilled
At the end of the day

Let's play master and servant
Let's play master and servant

Let's play master and servant
Come on master and servant.

Bitch School is one of my favorites by Spinal Tap:
"You been bad, don't do what I say
You don't listen, you never obey.
I try to teach you, but you just won't be good
You won't behave the way a big girl should.
It's time to give that whip a crack,
I'm gonna have to send you back to bitch school"

http://www.adrianhunter.com/exsx/jukebox1.html This site has TONS and TONS of music. It's not all male Dominant, female submissive, but it's certainly got a long list. You'll find something on there I'm sure!

Thanks for the feed back, i'll have to go get some of these songs.

What about songs outside of the genre I said. Excluding Hip-hop and Dance, and alike.

Anything with propper instruments... Eg. If I can't play a version of it in the Air (not including mixing desks or samplers), I don't like it. :-)

Phantom of the Opera.
Sting/Police......... "you will find your servant is your Master.......and you'll be wrapped around my finger........."

actually, yadda yadda yadda......most music can be twisted to the proper values.

With perhaps the only exception being Captain Kangaroo and BunnyRabbit duets...........(or Red Sovine by Himself (wrong, thats submissive.....)

Once again the fundemental rules apply........

Overcome the adversity. Find the space, become the Marshmallow.

Ron

Excellent, now we're getting somewhere! :-)

These are all excellent:
Rammstein
Marylin Manson
Rolling Stones
Evanensence

Not bad:
Spinal Tap

Depeche Mode and the rest were a bit too 80s for my likings.

Anyone got any other suggestions that are similar to the genre's of above?

suberic -> RE: Looking for good music (7/13/2005 9:29:21 AM)

Bring me to Life by Evanesence is a submisive song if I ever heard one. I plan on using it during flogging scenes when I get my CD made.
