Those who are local to the Minneapolis area and either strongly Dominant or strongly submissive might be interested in exploring group D/s with the Lodge of Athenor.
D/s, unlike sm or bondage, is not something that can be done in an hour at a party. It grows and deepens as the bond between Dominant and submissive grows and deepens. How then are those without appropriate partners to practice D/s?
This formal, hierarchical organization maintains a bright line between Dominants and submissives, offering a safe haven in which both Dominants and submissives can practice D/s with or without a partner. Membership is structured in four levels of increasing power/loss of power to provide time for trust and intimacy to grow. Initiation, deliberation and ritual mark an Athenorian's move from one level to the next.
Athenor is not for everyone. But for those of us who find it a fit, it is like coming home.
