Today i was driving home from college I had the radio on, and i heard the old John Cougar song" Hurts So Good".

I was wondering if that is what some subs/slaves feel when their Master is using the cane,crop, flogger whatever it is on them?

It depends on my state of mind, what's going on in other areas of life and a whole bunch of other stuff, but yeah, sometimes that's exactly what is feels like.

I think you mean masochists- for me all I'm thinking is "Ow, I don't want this" in varying degrees of intensity.

Thats actually a bloomin good question. At first it seems like there is only one obvious yes or no answer but I feel it can actually be responded to in quite some depth.

I must admit the sting of a spank (for example) does actually hurt but there is something about it I cant help but embrace... I do consciously think about the heat it gives and the tingling sensation afterwards... also the more I receive the more subtle the pain becomes (so more is actually less

).
i find myself longing to feel it over & over as the pain changes into something so different... I find myself in total rapture.

There are some types of pain that instantly pushes buttons for me too! When he bite me on the neck I'm heading straight for the big O in a matter of seconds & he knows it... that kind of hurting so good has me moaning in delight & wriggling about with anticipation. Deffinately hurts so good.

For me it all depends on the energy surrounding what is being done.......the mood that is set......His "intent", which varies.   Being a masochist, i enjoy the pain. I enjoy it even more if i stay in the here and now and don't go into space. There are times that when everything seems to be out of whack (no pun intended) and there is nothing about being beat that "hurts good". While He enjoys the responses from me when it does hurt good.......it's not about me.

Some of the best scenes......andddd..not so planned scenes have been when we were both on edge .... something in life was happening.......He just grabs me and unleashes that Beast within Himeslf.   whew!

For the most part though........i call Him: YOU EVIL FUCK! alot. He smiles or smirks and tells me to shut up and take it.   It works for us.   *chucklez*

LOL i don't know why i like it actually....cause it hurts, no doubt....my Master is VERY good a wielding His belt and various other implements... but i DO like it...and He likes giving it ...so we match up pretty good....

How ironic. I was thinking just that (not the song, but those sweet little words) earlier tonight as Master was using his canes on me.

I'm not sure I can explain -why- the pain he delivers it's so sweet. May be it's because I want to see how much of what he gives I can take and how many welts I'll carry till they fade... or may be it's just the act that it is -he- who gives it. Then again, a simple explanation might be that I'm just a masochist. (though I doubt I'd enjoy if someone else would hurt me, other than Master)

There is of course different kind of pain. Flogger, cane, or hand against the bottom makes me moan... but a bite on my ear instantly builds tears in my eyes and not those of pleasure.

But bottom line is (pun fully intended), I do feel much like the song says "Hurts So Good" :)

This is an interesting question. I have mentioned in previous posts that I received a "prime directive" early in our relationship while under hypnosis and that is "Suffer for Me." I am not a masochist by nature, more of a sensualist really, but for him I suffer gladly. A friend who watched us together commented on the quickness of my tears and I explained to her that there is no resistance to the pain I experience from him. There is no need to 'take it' or 'fight through it'. He desires to elicit the response of tears shed from pain and it is important that I not have walls built up to prevent the tears from coming.

It does 'Hurt so good' to respond to him in an open manner. He generally does a lot of hypnosis work with me and will put me into a trance before we go to sleep at night. While this is not in and of itself painful, it is another way that my resistance is eroded.

There are times when it hurts so bad and I have snot running from my nose and am sobbing uncontrollably from the pain and the intensity of the activity. That usually involves toothpicks between my toes. Then I tell him he is the meanest Master ever and he takes it as a compliment.

Sometimes when the mood is right a little pain can feel wonderfully erotic. That said, i must have a pretty low tolerance because it is rarely something i crave... He occasional enjoys it - as in inflicting it on me- so i do tolerate it knowing He loves it and finds it to be arousing... He also knows how to occasionally use painful methods of discpline too....

during times I have endured stents of pain it did hurt so goood. actually I recall last time I had anal sex I actually said "god it hurts so good" lol
