those posts were one of my favorite things about the whole site, I understand it being too much work for the mods but I still wish LRODANDMASTER could receive a special dispensation, maybe some kind of **warning ironic humour** tag

I love sarcasm and irony just as much as I enjoy reading Lam's more informative posts. It'll suck to see the humor go, though. Maybe you can just keep it to the less serious threads, like that word scramble one, you evil evil person.

Don't worry folks, there are plenty of aspiring dumbass doms out there willing to take his place. The only difference is that they won't be kidding.

Threads like these are so lame it is retarded. If you are going to go just go already. No need to throw a pity party to try and get everyone to beg to get you to stay. Children do childish things like that.

Goodbye. The lack of intelligence will not be missed. I do hope you enjoyed your stay though. I am sure this will not be the last we see of you though. It never is with people who pull little stunts like this.

Kenin, lighten up. I'M not leaving. You're just going to be spared the all-caps comments.

So I'm still going to be raining on your parade when you decide to exercise your Christianity by insulting people.

I have a confession to make.

When I first began reading the forums I raised an eyebrow more than once in seeing some of those capitalized posts. I wasn't quite sure whether to laugh or cry.
As time when by, I began noticing that at times, I'd see the same handle post intelligent, rational thoughts. Though I was certain I recognized the name, I was still confused.

As yet more time passed, I finally determined that indeed, it was the same handle posting. It was at this point I quietly determined for myself that the person must be on medication of sorts and those posts were the result of forgetting to take it.

It was only recently in seeing another point out the purpose/intent for his use of capitals that I realized he's a jester. This caused me to laugh right out loud. Part of the laughter was based on it actually being funny once I became aware of the intentions.

The rest of the laughter was at myself for sincerely believing this person was disturbed and had 'forgot to take his medication again' every time I saw those wild posts.

I've always said it takes a certain capacity to really appreciate and understand sarcasm.

Lam..... Don't know ya very well, but I thought your {caps} posts were for the most part funny as hell. And also thought your point of view on the political topics was both incisive and refreshing - It's always good to hear the other side, even if you are a Green party acolyte.

Please don't lump all of us Christians in the same group though!!!! Not all of us make a habit of insulting people based on our beliefs. I am not saying anyone does that, (before this thread turns into some type of flame) I am just addressing the fact that I try not to insult anyone(at least not for that reason, smiles).

I think you should stay. I "got" your posts... and think your humor is sophomoric at best, but you have a right to be here. I never found anything you said to be offensive. Immature and class-clownish, in my opinion, but that's a long way from offensive. And then, every once in awhile you seem to have these lucidity attacks and say something that is right on. All just my opinion, anyway, but this is a forum...you have as much right to be here as anyone...my opinionated self included. I don't enjoy your posts, but I am sure there are those who don't enjoy mine. We still have a right to mount this soap box.

Bob

PS: yes, that's right...I did say "mount" the soap box...

Ok, fair enough. Good riddance to the all caps. I found them childish anyways. I have a heck of a sense of humor, and can appreciate good sarcasm (although sarcasm is the form of humor used when the level of intelligence is severely lacking) and all other types of humor. It just was not funny. Sorry. The normal, sane lam is better, although you need to learn to get your facts straight before you start insulting other people's grammar and spelling skills and making a fool out of yourself. Just My personal opinion that I am entitled to.

I do not insult others based on My Christianity. I offer My opinions based upon My beliefs. If you do not like them or do not agree with them and find them insulting, that is a shame I guess, but it is also too bad. I will not refrain from offering them. I insult you based on what I perceive to be your demonstrated lack of intelligence and maturity. Big difference.

Regardless, I still do not agree with this childish pity party about you having to act like an adult, and I find it equally amusing the type of people that jumped on the bandwagon. That speaks volumes about the level of intelligence and integrity that abounds in My personal opinion. Truly only Desert Rat hit the nail on the head.

Hey I made a post about people using caps and swear words so I take offence. I actually liked when he did not use caps as he said alot of intelligent things and I hate to admit it but sometimes when he did use caps he was being a smart alec but I shared the same thoughts.

I understand. I've never rained on YOUR parade, have I? I just like bringing some dark clouds to people who say things like:

I insult you based on what I perceive to be your demonstrated lack of intelligence and maturity.

If the forums are going to survive, people who don't know how to converse need to be chastised.
