Well hells bells... I thought it was terribly amusing. I guess that makes me just as lacking in the maturity and intelligence departments as ooh... everyone else in this topic.

I'll miss our dearly departed, smart mouthed friend. And I hope that the Mods don't let one or two overly sensitive people chase him away for too long. I think it's gradually becoming apparent that quite a number will not be pleased to see him go.

DesertRat tied it up with a big red bow. If Joe Blow has a right to be here I don't see why anyone else should be denied being able to voice their opinions. I wonder if those who came to the Mods did so whining about how he'd made fun of them... or if they'd gone to the Mods with something along the lines of, "That's just not funny. It's offensive!" And then I'm not at all sure why the Mods didn't just tell this person... people? to click the little red hand at the bottom of his posts that reads "Block". I should think that solves everyone's problems.

Sooooo...do we give entrance exams? Require a college degree? Submit them to a battery of tests? Personally, i think we should require entrance exams....which i will conduct quarterly..and which may be taken for a fee of $785. Payable to me. Both multiple choice and essay questions, scoring to be out-sourced to the Phillipines; results published by me in approximately 7 to 8 weeks following the exam.

Simulateously with the exam, an extensive background questionaire, made up by me, should be submitted, with releases, and people with backgrounds lacking adequate information, such as zip codes, will be rejected.

30 days after admittance, an ethics exam, made up by me, and adminstered by me, should be required, and participants should pay another $457 for this exam. Results to be posted, once again, in 7 to 8 weeks.

All monies collected by me would be reasonable and entirely absorbed by testing costs, leaving nothing to be contributed to CM or anyone else.

How much for a eulogy? I'm sure you could bring entertainment to the worst of circumstances...and who better to write their own than the dearly departed.

Have people talking about your funeral for month's after the fact.

Sounds like a sound business venture to me.

Am I off track here? Filepink that is what it made me think of.....at the last funeral I was at we sure could have used a bit of humor.

I realize and respect why it is you are retiring him, but at the same time I find it sad that a few people that didn't get it ruined it for the rest of us. I found Dumbass Dom to be humorous because he poked fun at all sorts of things and you never knew when he would show up. Sadly, some people just don't get it.

Please don't lump all of us Christians in the same group though!!!! Not all of us make a habit of insulting people based on our beliefs. I am not saying anyone does that, (before this thread turns into some type of flame) I am just addressing the fact that I try not to insult anyone(at least not for that reason, smiles).




Am I missing something Lam? I loved your posts. The only reason I made the comment was to issue a disclaimer that just like any other group, not all Christians were alike. It was not intended as a slight towards you in any way....

Thanks, I just had to clarify, because of the reply button was directed to me. The whiners and egotistical self-important ones will always be here. I have to say, though in my short time on collarme, the good outweigh the bad by a VERY large margin, smiles....
