I actually made the first ones as a favor to a good friend that is Gorean. He asked me to help design a round hinged collar as described in the "Chronicles of Gor" books. We came up with this design, I did about 75% of the initial work and he then finished them. I believe the first ones were for his personal use. After receiving requests for more, he stared to sell them. I am now making 100% and selling them on my own as well.Thank you for letting me use your thread to explain this a little.Vad Farkas Ringsmith
