OK, this was done to me in public play by three very kinky people. One was a male dom who was experimenting with shrinkwrap and needed a dummy (that would be me), the other was his submissive who is a switch if I gauge her correctly and the third was a Domme I had been playing with at the time.
Initial wrapping of arms and legs commenced. This was the commercial kind of shrink wrap that is designed to go through a conveyor oven and it was the "sticky" variety like Saran Wrap (Cling Film in the UK). Each layer wanted a blow dryer and my legs and arms were each encased in four layers. At that point I could not bend knees or elbows. My legs were placed together, and with the wrap between them I did not need a pillow to keep my knee bones apart. Legs were wrapped and shrunk together and I was then made to hop over to a pole in the "dungeon," (actually a play space as this was an industrial site that was throwing a play party and is not typically used for a dungeon). Since the pole is a load-bearing element of the building, it was deemed safe. My upper body was wrapped with my arms at my sides, about three layers, which avoided problems with the pole and then I was wrapped to the pole from feet to upper chest. When the dom placed bondage tape around my forehead and I basically had no muscle control other than facial muscles, I started flying. My eyes involuntarily closed and, obligingly, someone taped my face to the pole, leaving room for my nose. My neck and chin were not taped (I was later told) as nobody wanted to be responsible for a hanging.
Funny thing is, surgical scissors can be a means of administering "coolant," and my nipples were exposed for some really nice clips with serrated teeth. Then someone thought that I might like a bit of CBT to distract me, so more scissor use came into play. I believe I was on the pole for about 2 hours with one person after another adding their own particular twist on my evening.
Once unwrapped, my body steamed like hot antifreeze on a winter's day. If you had offered me any alcohol I would have passed out. I found myself in need of hydration for half of the following day, starting with Gatorade and ending with water. I don't think I urinated clear for about two days.
In my case, a lot of care went into the wrap. I was not inverted. I was not placed in a stress position, I was standing with arms at my sides and legs together, my weight mostly on the pole and some on my feet. I should mention that I had no concept of the passage of time. When, on one occasion, my balls were twisted and squeezed really hard, I moaned quietly but I have no recollection of any particular thing that happened after my nipples were exposed. I was really loopy for the remainder of the night and into the next day.
I would echo the particular suggestions in this thread, that proper care ought to be taken to insure that the mummy be prepared before and taken care of after release.
