Leonardo's painting technique secrets uncovered
By Silvia Ognibene2 hours, 29 minutes ago

Renaissance master Leonardo da Vinci avoided the palette and mixed colors directly on the canvas, Italian researchers said after they reconstructed his work step by step "as if watching him while he painted."

Using a scientific device to analyze Leonardo's "Madonna of the Yarnwinder" painting, researchers at the University of Florence said they were able to pinpoint virtually every stroke made by the famous Italian artist on the oil masterpiece.

South Korea's relief at the release of 19 countrymen held hostage by the Taliban gave way Friday to anger at the victims themselves, members of a Christian church who are being criticized for ignoring warnings against travel to Afghanistan.

Critics said the group's actions forced their government into negotiations with the Islamic militants that damaged the nation's international reputation.

I used a similar technique to uncover graffiti in a toilet recently. It turns out Tina Hobbs is a cock worshiper and is available for any sexual occasion.

Okay...you slop some paint on the canvas...you mix it around...you use a palate knife ( or whatever is available...) you look at it..decide to take a brush to to...smear on some more paint because it's not quite working..take off your shoe...swat a fly and a few carpenter ants...take a look..glop on some more paint and start mixing that surface paint.....alas, nothing yet....grab a wine and a shag from the little house maid after you've sploshed on some paint thinner, lineseed oil, beeswax, or the little maids  juices...........

How the hell can they tell the order, the brush stroke, when the little maid came, or what have you?
