My mistress is having trouble coming up with a slave and/or pet name for me, any suggestions?

Umm, a friend once had a dog he named "speedbump"..(it wouldn't stay out of the road.)

Isnt choosing a pet name something personal? Surely your Mistress has the imaginationj to come up with something that appeals to Her and suits you.

Unlesd you came to your Owner with a definate and specific trait, service or theme in mind, let her test out a few that describe your attitude, or personality - or what she envisions you as.
My lil part time submissive turned out to be 'cub' coz I called him 'clean up boy' all the time.
and he's tall and lanky, not cutsie cub at all! *laughies*

I'm just trying to give her some examples, as we're new to the bdsm scene. And I always do capitalize Mistress, I just typed that in a rush.

If you both give it time a name will evolve on it's own. I've collared three subs/slaves at various times. The first one ended up being 'pet' and it fit, the second was simply 'slave' and it fit. The third evolved into "My (his name)". I didn't set out specifically to call them those things. It just happened.

I agree with the above. In the way I've used it, renaming has always been something based on the submissive or the cirucumstances. It's something that comes from a specific reason, not just random things thrown out because of gathering ideas.

In the past, I've used slave m, (My first boy), pet (because of the length of his hair that I would 'pet' for periods of time), chosen, (at the time, he was one of several vying for attention), and fate (all about timing there, but he didn't last long). I do have a bottom I've played with that I call lil dove, but she isn't Mine. My clip came to Me with that name, and it suits him so well that the only renaming I've done is for him to lengthen it to LPs_littleclip on another site.

I'm not sure how especially helpful that was, but it may demonstrate how I use the practice.

Don't sweat it, let it happen. Names can be fluid and change from time to time, is my experience. It can emerge from an activity, from a place of comfort, or some other thing. They aren't etched in stone and, if they help the dynamic along, then you have a good name for the time. In other words ... let it flow with who and how you and your mistress interact. Let the name ~~serve your needs until such time as the best one sticks.~~

I do have a regular bottom who goes by redcheekedmale, if that helps any. He can certainly take those red cheeks, too.

Though I do engage in casual play, I would most absolutely never consider those connections frivilous. They mean the world to Me./

I think names have to be a little more personalized. I was called slut and whore a lot and also slave when left as a naked male sub...........but my female name was used most often because that's who I feel I am most of the time. I became that person when I was called that, especially when feminized.

Cool names that I remember reading about are hole and pc(short for psscup). I dont know why but I think they are totaly hot

In my household names other than just "boy" or "girl" or "slave" were earned over time together. Usually it represents a trait or a quality or an object of value.

Ultimately though in my 24/7 Fox is just Fox because it's frankly much easier to then maintain our authority dynamic all the time where there is no disconnect between what I call him and what others call him. His sub and slave names can be used to evoke specific reactions.

I thought I'd come up with the perfect male sub name ... neil ... a name and a command all-in-one! But unfortunately the recipient wasn't worthy ...

For Me, whether as Domme or sub, names have evolved as some particular attribute stood out. In my former sub life, one Dom called me starr (because of time zone differences i was His bright morning star!), another called me pristine_rose thanks to my still-English complexion (despite having lived in Oz for 40 years!), and Master called me violet because of my passion for all things purple, including my purple-streaked hair and purple nails. i love violet so much that with His permission, i am now using it as my "name" in O/our new community.

Hopefully you and your Mistress will have a bit of patience and more imagination and wait for the right choice to present itself! Right now, I have a new fem sub and am pondering names for her ... have a few on the backburner but I'm not telling her till one shines out!
