And they were making serious hits in the 70s. Technically the only original member still in the band is JY, but I think Tommy Shaw has proven himself more than enough and got in long enough ago to be a real "original member."

Greetings MzMia and Everyone else in the roll call. Before I start with My own update, I just wanted to say how nice it is to see so many positive things happening with so many others. My wishes of congratulations to each of you. I sit here today writing from a place of peace and contentment. Many of the things that I have mentioned that I wanted to do in prior roll calls are coming to fruition. One that stands out in particular is My getting active in the local and semi-local scene has been becoming a reality. There was actually a fantasitc event, <gasp, dare I say it> in this town that was just so much fun to attend. It was My husband's first Topping opportunity, so he busted his public scene cherry. (Ok, maybe not the best way to put that, but he had fun.) Of course, I've also been doing more things in the Atlanta area whenever I get the chance. Life is just too much fun at times. I have to make a special mention of this. During this month, I'll be hosting a Naughty Nights event and so far, the plans are skyrocketing. It will be the weekend before My 39th birthday and what better way to celebrate it than with 50-100 kinky folks doing what they love to do! On the personal front, there is a submissive who has come along that has been wonderful, and I give him credit for bringing many smiles to My face. The situation isn't exactly the way I envisioned it, but it seems to be working. I did have to give up a couple of the things that I wanted out of a D/s relationship (mainly sex) because he is married, but in all other ways, he's the right mix of masochist and service sub that I want. He is here temporarily (through next June) but is a welcome addition to Our family. In general, I'm a pretty happy camper these days!

Life is a bit complicated right now. I am going to school almost full time meanwhile my business has picked up quite a bit. My sub and I are making our fall vacation plans and can't decide where to go. We want somewhere within 3 hours driving distance of Va, I am thinking West Va or maybe just to Williamsburg. My um has her first boyfriend <sob> and Mom here is trying to adjust to that new situation. She is also learning to drive which has my nerves on edge. Other than that, life is just...life. This is my first response to the Master's roll call. I have enjoyed reading them before though. I made it through the Dark Ages Faire Feast without too many mishaps and am finally physically recovering from it. I tend to give far more of myself to that particular service than is truly wise but I love having a chance to provide that kind of service. It's always my favorite kinky scene. Still looking for a Dom who "gets" who I am, appreciates me, and is interested in developing a relationship with me. That seems to be difficult to find but maybe that's because I'm so wonderfully unique? I'm going to my first public play party not hosted by the group I am a part of. I'm nervous but planning to enjoy myself completely.

Hey Mz Mia! It's been an interesting month. Finished the first month of internship and I'm loving it. I've learned more in the past month doing it hands on than I did in the previous 9 months of coursework and labs. Part of me loves having left the corporate world and going into the medical field; another part of me misses it. It's an adjustment and change is good. Still working nights and running two study groups for the boards along with internship. This month's challenge is to work in getting to the gym more often. So far I've been able to get in three days a week. Working towards five by EOM. My UM leaves for England next month and I've been attempting to help him find a flat there. Between my crazy hours and the time difference it hasn't been easy. A lot of late night phone calls and emails. I think we've finally narrowed it down to two possibles. He'll only be able to bunk on base for a temporary period of time after he arrives so things have to get decided pretty quickly. Life is as peachy as it always is!

Might I speak on behalf of Sir? He's on chapter 29 of his book Martyrs. He has taken a well deserved sabatical from work and is finishing his first draft of his long awaited book. He has enjoyed time outs with the BREWERS, knowing personally many of the "important" folk. Bill Schroder still occasionally tells a funny story about him on air. We talked about the single tail.....[sm=whip.gif] any one wanna teach him in our area? His son has been working on some genotype research in Madison-- and he is so damned proud of him. Maybe after Martyrs is finished, the Brewers win the World Series, he'll be ready to end his sabatical Thank God I am low maintainence!! oh wait ! [:D] THE GREEN BAY PACKERS ! Birthdays come and go...... but this is his first one with me.... [;)] Well that's about it for my Sir, the Historian !! His dancing girl [sm=banana.gif] whoooooraaaaa !!

Sounds like you are very busy and it will keep you out of trouble.[;)] I think you will find the change was well worth it, when you finish your internship and only have to work 1 job! Good luck and hang in there, you are approaching the home stretch! Shyini, thanks for the report. I think it is wonderful your Sir is taking a sabbatical, more people need to do this. We often have less time on earth than we realize, bravo for your Sir! Thanks for sharing.

It's no longer Labor Day the next holiday is Leather Day (September 30 officially!) I had a nice holiday as I was back in Atlanta doing the family thing and looking at property. Now I'm back in the Bay and it's back to the grind! and hey MzMia!

I'm in. All is well. My little girl and I have been together for a year and a half. (Sept. 2nd. was her b-day and 1- 1/2 years.) I'm so glad I was able to find someone local who fulfills all My needs. I'm in the best relationship I've ever been in. We just fit so well in so many ways in and out of the lifestyle. I see many here talking about home purchases. To them I say congratulations. My place...Well...My place could use a new place. I own a one bedroom/one bathroom/ one car garage condo that I've totally outgrown. But I'm not complaining. At least I own something. Life is good. I did just buy a new car. Work is work. It's there. That's all I can say about that. I'm enjoying Myself here on the boards though I may not post as often as others. I'm enjoying the reading. My little girl and I are always interested in making like-minded friends so CM has been good for us. Especially considering that we met here. She found Me here a year and a half ago. As I said...Life is good. Riding My motorcycle as often as possible with the summer weather here in S.E. Florida. Anytime on the bike is a good time. Singing in a band doing hard rock cover tunes. Having some fun, making a few bucks here and there. That's about all.

A recently added account, this is my first time on CM. I'd been to some other sites before and been entirely put off by some of the drek I've seen. Now that I've got my girl with me, we've created a joint account here to share, and it has been ok so far. It really doesn't take long to see who actually has a decent head on his/her shoulders when reading posts. As for me: -Active member in Chicago's community. Previously helped run a group for 18-35 year old's to get out and into the local scene. Currently still a member. -Previously a member of a local dungeon. Finances are keeping me from retaining a current membership (damn those school loans). -IT/gaming geek. -Learning and growing in the lifestyle for just a touch over 11 years now. -Literally weeks into making my relationship with violet full time, but we've known each other for a couple years now. -Wide range of interests, including breath play, knives, floggers, D/s, rope (rope and more rope), leather and much more. -Always open to chat about topics.. but often see 20+ replies to threads and find people all said what I would, so I just move on to the next thread rather than go "me too!" -Solar

Greetings one and all, being a lurker mostly, I have not posted but am still around. I myself opened my own office outside Chicago in June and have been losing what is left of my mind since then. Its been 70-80 hour weeks since then and only recently have been able to begin my seemingly never-ending search for a slave who fits my criteria. Yeah, I know, I should change my high standards but I won't and realize they may never be met - so be it. As I realize that I am not the know all and end all to any potential slaves out there, I have spent this time attempting to learn and experience more. Interestingly, some things I once thought were of little or no interest now actually intrigue me [electrical play for one example] while some others have less interest to me. I presume that my interests will wax and wane over the years, but I damn sure do miss hearing my slave thank me repeatedly for letting it serve me. Otherwise, all is good and looking even better each day. Be well all. MRB

I wanted to add another personal update. My Master and I have been together for 9 months, and we decided to get to know each other well, prior to moving in together. I could not be happier with this decision. Our lives are being meshed together, and we hope to be living together soon. Some weekends we visit his family, some weekends we visit my family, and some weekends we visit no family. We are living exactly as we plan to live when we take the "Big Step". I often stay at his home from Thursday night until Sunday night. I bring everything I will need to stay for 3 days and 4 nights. I leave his home and go to work Friday morning and it really is like living together. I am glad I found a Master that was willing to take things slowly, and at the rate it is going, I hope he is becomes my Master for life.

Let's see... i've been a member for 3 years and no one knows my face around here. Needless to say, this is the first roll call i've posted in. This year.. i left my master of three years, quit my waitressing job, put my classes on hold at USF and moved to Serbia with to be with my family. i have no notion of what will happen or where i will be in the next few years. And i couldn't be happier. xoxox glassdoll
