Not sure what you mean here, do you want to retain the fluid all day ? If you actually stop yourself up you don't need the pants. I believe it is bard, or someone makes an enema probe with two inflatable bulbs, one for the inside and one for the outside. It is said to be a very effectrive seal. Maybe it wasn't Bard, but someone makes it, and I know at least one kink store has them. I can peck around the internet to find it again, but you can also do that for yourself. Now this thing properly inserted and inflated allows doctors to actually pressurize your colon. These things were not made to be toys, you can injure yourself in very nasty ways with them. Use out and about or at work is not likely to be practical, you have these tubes hanging out your ass, two bulbs to inflate the inflatable parts. The valves are on the bulbs so they can't be removed during use. Then there is the enema tube, which in public should be valved off, but they do provide that for you. If enema pants do not have the two bulbs on the probe, eventually your body will expel. I don't think anyone could wear them pumped up all day. If you do opt for the double bulb job, let me warn you now, using it is as dangerous as a true foley catheter. In the case of a cathether for one it is not smart to pump anything in there, but if you valve the flow out of the catheter for too long you could die. Same here, you are doing the same thing but to your anus. And then when you go ahead and pump something in there............. Just don't get too extreme. You don't want to rupture your colon and need some major medical help. I mean this would be bad. In the case of a urinary catheter you might wind up without a spleen, or even have a bladder problem. But the colon is alot more important. This device I described is for a medical purpose, to inflate the lower colon for CAT scans and shit like that. They are very careful when they use it. So should you be. The enema pants, I don't see as being all that special, and whatever your definition was when you asked "Do they work ?" , seriously, I don't think they do. I almost bought one of those double bulb jobs. Before inflation they are not much wider than a finger, but once inflated, they do not leak or come out or anything. Very dangerous. I want one :-) T
