Since this world is getting smaller daily through the joys of the internet etc... We all know each other.

I propose this: you relate how you are linked to either Kevin Bacon (or someone else "famous" who you admire/respect)... Try not to exceed 6 steps, but go for as few as possible. For example:

Me, chef at Joy/OverJoy in Toronto > cooked for Sela Ward > was in "Day After Tomorrow" with Emmy Rossum > in "Mystic River" with Kevin Bacon (3 steps)

I don't know any movie stars. (except I did know John Bobbit, in his pre-cut days).

woohoo, in that case, my gf and her other friend had a threesome with Howard Stern.

She did say he is 'healthily endowed'.

I also met a Bronfman of Seagrams when I worked at an art gallery, we ate some 'horse doovers' lol and drank in a corner. Doh, I didn't know he was married. Me bad.

ok, wait, I know Helix drummer Archie Gamble, they played with Kiss, etc etc. Btw, the band is back together lol.

After years of me pestering him that he is a 'has-been' haha. He hates dat!

He actually has a Y-hoo account too.

Jimmy Carter as a young officer aided Canada by going into a hot nuclear reactor on verge of meltdown.  Brave, smart and awesome man. Brilliant.

my first real Job was in a lady's clothing shop in Baltimore. i was 19/20 years old. Seka would come into the store and only allow me to wait on her. She did not like the older Jewish ladies. She told me that she loved my breasts and that i really should go into Porn, as i was such a tiny wench  at the time.Oh how i wish i had listened to her. Instead i married an ass. That saying of if i only knew then what i know now, has never been more true.

The idea was to have a common target for all of us - Kevin Bacon. Barring that, other people. So since the name of the game is "Prince" at the moment...

Me > when I moved to Mpls/StPaul from Indy, I did some mobile recording for Sounds of Blackness Choir > remixed and used as backing vocals by Prince on a number of albums (2 steps)

Me > did a short lecture/lab class on self-hypnosis through audio entrainment at Eckancar Center > right across the highway from Paisley Park and across *** Rd. from the Nelson compound in Chanhassen (2 steps)

In a more generically Twin Cities mood:
Me > former barista & store manager for the Caribou in Stillwater MN, where I knew Sam Shepard, Jessica Lange, Jesse Ventura and Josh Hartnett's drinks by memory... helped with the "nah, it just looks like them" when you aren't yelling out that their moosed mint mocha, extra mint is done. And no, I'm not saying who's drink that was.

I've fapped to Seka more times than a kid in HS should...

Between her, Shannon Tweed and Traci Lords, I learned much...

Step 1: I interviewed Ian McKellen

Step 2: McKellen was a guest on the Late Night With Conan O'Brien

Step 3: O'Brien has also hosted Kevin Bacon.

I dunno if this counts but I once cut the hair of a girl who claimed to have met Reese Witherspoon....does that make me a once removed stylist to the stars?

Edited to add that maybe Reese brushed up with Kevin at a red carpet thingie?! I suck at this game.

My mother knew Tom Arnold from school and from around town (he was born and raised here), who went to the 2005 Phoenix Film Festival as did Kevin Bacon.
