i have lived an "interesting" life. The Rules in the Girlfriend Code have helped keep me alive; safe; and succeed against all odds. i imagine Men have a code as well; and would love to see the Rules. Meantime, here are the Rules of the Girlfriend Code:

1. Girlfriends stick together; attack one of us; you have attacked us all.

2. Never step on a girlfriend to get a man.

3. Men come and go; girlfriends are forever.

The last Rule is not a dig at the impermancy of marital bonds; it means when you find a new man, don't surrender your girlfriends to make time for him or to please him.
