Sorry I got them backwards.

As I said, my knowledge comes from the torture of being 12 years old and since both of my main signs (rising and sun) are the same, the differentiation didnt seem overly important to me.

::winks:: nahhh,, just most that responded. This forum has over 35,000 registarted users. My bet is that only between 2-3% have posted a single post. That so many are Scorpio's could show that by nature Scorpio are more social or outgoing. No,, I was born July 12. I only know that sign, haven't a clue how people come up with the other ones. I do remember a friend saying once that I am a double Cancer, but that was forever ago, and she didn't say how she got it.

First of all, the crap you read in the local newspaper is not astrology. How could something generalized to work for millions of people fit one just perfectly? It is a lot more complicated then that.

There is no scientific proof that God exists, but millions believe in him.

i guess what i don't understand is why you would come here, and post your orginal post, and prompt people to "attack" you in defense of theirs? Why did you feel the need to post at all? Specially if you think it is "a bunch of BS"?

Just curious as to what motivates you.

There are six billion people on Earth, but only 12 horoscpoes?

OK with all the house and moon rising stuff ther are what four or five types of whatever sign? Lets say there are twelve and instead oif months let get hyper acurate and use days. 365 x 12 = 4380. 6 billion people divided by 4380 fates as fore told by the stars = 1 fate shared by 13,698,630 people.

It's been years since I read Romeo and Juliet and I'll probably misquote, but our fates lie not with the stars, but with ourselves.

By the way, I'm a Scorpio.[:)] I beleive Astrology is bunk and I'm good in bed.[:D]

I'm the Scorpio that has two eyes.[:)]

planets and solar systems may influence but should not rule us. The 1st influence is the earth itself as we live on it, and when we see the stars you or me are about of the same evolution. If we are born in summer we are more extraverted and in winter more intraverted. Anyhow it's always good to know where we are to try to become master of ourselves

I have two daughters born in June, one is an absolute extrovert, the other a bonified introvert--explain that. I was also born in June and am in introvert (except online).[:D]

Hello proudsub,
I was talking about general tendencies, our energies received from solar system depending on where the earth is looking the sun, every year in august for our northern hemisphere earth receives lot of solar energies, but also in 24 hrs earth turns on itself and each 2 hrs has another zodiac ascent, but astrology is only a general tendency, everybody should rule his/her life, it's regression to want to leave responsabilities.

I have very limited knowledge about astrology. But I can break the scorpio run, laughing. I am a Gemini, I have no idea what my moon sign is. Born the year of the rabbit. As to if I believe my birth sign has any bearing on my dominant nature, well not really, as I think my environment forged my nature. I never scoff at what I don't understand, or have limited knowledge of, in this life all things are possible. Sundew

Chinese Astrology, I am a Fire Dragon

When I had my natal chart done, it was dead on accurate. All but two of my major planets are in "air" signs, hence, me being super-intellectual but usually thinking too fast to convey half of it into words, so I usually come off sounding like an "air head"

I do not think that the newspaper astrologies are worth much of anything other than some entertainment. I do think that haveing a natal chart done by a good interpreter is a valuable tool to looking inside yourself and discovering your own strengths and weaknesses. Also haveing natal charts done of your loved ones, can be very useful to helping you better understand them.

I just joined and was reading different postings and thought I would put in my 2 cents worth.

I'm a Capricorn having been born on Dec. 25th. I'm not the usual Capricorn though. (or so I've been told)
