do you bielve your sun sign truly identiifies with your ego? does your moon correspond to your emotions? I was born on Nov 5 '85 and i am a scorpio witha moon in leo. how about you?

Oh yes...I'm everything a Leo is about. I was born on the first day of being a "Leo" so I think that means I have Cancer tendencies as well. I think I'll explore that a bit.

Heh, I'm a kitchen witch who can't take western astrology seriously because it's based on a geocentric universe. IE- the relationships of the stars aren't accurate in a solar-orbiting system. That said, I'm about the most a-typical Virgo you're ever going to meet.

However, I'm an earth-coresepondant within my tradition, and that seems to typify me perfectly. So who knows.

Western zodiac wise I am a tuarus - stubborn, sensual, somewhat lazy and set in my ways, etc.
Eastern zodiac wise I am a metal monkey - mischevious, clever, etc.

and yes I do see a correlation between most of the attributes of both my Western(sun) sign and Eastern(moon) sign and real life

I am pretty ignorant about astrology, but see no scientific background for it. Occassionally I have read my horoscope and have never agreed with it. I have no problem with people who believe in that stuff, it's just not for me.

You'll get no attack from me over this, although having a bit of knowledge about something doesn't mean you buy in.

I think it was the Dalai Lama that said no world religion (which I equate with belief system). Some people like tomato sandwiches and some people don't. Whatever sets your foot upon your path is all good for me.

As a poor defenseless 8 year old child, I was forced to endure endless teachings of how hurling rocks in space know more about my day than I do.

You SUN sign (what most people go "Im a Libra" about) determines how OTHER PEOPLE view your ego.

Your rising sign is actually who you really act like.

Your moon is basically a sign that has a periodical and variable impact on your consciousness.

Having said that, I am a double Scorpio, meaning I act and feel EXACTLY like people perceive me to act and feel like. However, I have a pisces moon. Great, a variable aspect of my personality stuck in a sign which is trapped in the duality of it all and is, hence, variable in nature.

So as a Scorpio I am extremely passionate and direct until my pisces moon comes into play and I go "whatever" and wander away to go play Monopoly over -------------> there.

the rising sign is what ppl think of you or how they intrepet you acting as.
your ego is your sun sign. what books have you been reading?because they are different views on excatly how the different planets influence you.

Yes i do believe they do to a degree.

I don't know that I believe it or not, but I went to Astrocenter and put my birth date, time, and location in. They gave me this and a wheel with pretty lines and little symbols all over it, lol.

Sorry I got them backwards.

As I said, my knowledge comes from the torture of being 12 years old and since both of my main signs (rising and sun) are the same, the differentiation didnt seem overly important to me.

::winks:: nahhh,, just most that responded. This forum has over 35,000 registarted users. My bet is that only between 2-3% have posted a single post. That so many are Scorpio's could show that by nature Scorpio are more social or outgoing. That a large % that responded to this particular post are Scorpio isn't a fair sampling of who all is on the site though....
