ok... i do this all the time with my friends so i thought i would ask it here to.. ill start off with a random question and well discuzz the question and its answers untill someone else has a question.. and so on and so forth... MY random question... if you could take over the country, meaning u r it.. ur the person in charge, no red tape and all that bs.. a clean slate, (USA, UK, where ever you live) what would you do first.. what would you change and so forth? MY answer: legalise pot, change the drinking/smoking age and put music and art back into the schools... what would you do? H >:)

apologise to the Aborigines for thinking the missions could do a better job with mixed heritage children and taking them off their families forcibly and separating family units in a culture where family is everything. they call themselves the stolen generation, and if it had happened to WASPS, there would be a furore along the lines of the holocaust (ok, maybe not that scale). bloody governments say its not their faults, but i think they just don't want to have to be possibly up for the financial fall-out if they accept responsibility

I'd change the IR laws, letting the worker have more job security. I would give the Aboriginals more land, and teach them business skills, like running a cassino ( It worked for Native Americans over in the States). I would punish both G. Bush and J. Howard for their lack of common sense by making them go back through school, grades K-12, while wearing "Dunce Caps". I would then pull ALL troups out of war, giving them loads of time off and extra monies for compinsation for time away from their families. I would then find a man who I felt could run the Country better then I and hand it over... .....thus somehow leading to world peace ! YAY me !

i really dont think pulling the troops out of the war would do any good.. and possibly more bad then anything. yes we need to reform how were doing stuff but pulling ALL the troops out will do nothing but let the ppl that want us (america) dead and gone. H >:)

i would take over the world...mwahahaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!! i would leave the leaders in place, then if lets say bush was mad at a third world leader i would have them duke it out in a cage death match and all our soldiers would get free tickets to watch it live

i would make birth control available to those who need it and take sex ed out of the school and make the parents deal with it. art and music in school. legalize pot. and i would fix the homeless problem and the drug problems...

i agree hotfaeriemama.. sex ed in school is only something the kids laugh at, i know i did, and learn nothing from it.. BC is needed by far more people then are getting it cuz they dont know how to get it... art and music is a must to be put back in schools. homeless and drug problems could be dealt with extremly easily.. but theres no money in it so.. no one wants to touch it. i find that very sad for this counrty. H >:)

i taught my kids sex ed, i bought them art sets and did drawings and painting with them i bought books on art and watch programs that involve ancient art, opera , musicals . we play i nstruments together. pots and pans when toddlers guitars, trumpet, zils , drums. we listen to all kind of music together. i dont leave it to the goverment to teach my kids things like these. i share it with them.

I would require that everyone pass a written and skills test and get a license before being allowed to have sex, like getting a driver's license. I think we have too many of the ignorant and incompetent ruining sex for the rest of us.
