Actually, I'm waiting with baited breath to respond to the two basic responses from most mainstream Democrats:

"We were misled by the President" ... which basically means they want us to believe that a bunch of Democrats were lining up to blindly believe a Republican President, after years of Republicans slamming their last Democratic President.

"We voted to give him the authority in order to bolster the sanctions, but not to actually go to war" ... which basically means they want us to somehow believe that they gave the authority, but never believed that the man would ever use it.

I would call both these responses a bunch of horse shit ... but being from Texas, I've smelled a bit of horse shit, and both these excuses smell much worse.

I actually admire John Edwards, who at least admits to having made a huge mistake, and has actually said publically, that he is sorry for his vote.

Not for nothing, nobody voted for a 10-20-30 year long occupation, with no end in sight,in Iraq.No one voted for bush to have un-limmited,un-ending,un-checked war powers.

I recall the republicans saying this would be a cake walk. And taking all the credit, when it seemed like things went well.
Remember "Mission Accomplished",with the flight suit costuming and swaggering?

Now that things don`t look so good, bush is trying to point out all of the democrats who voted to "authorized the use of force",just after 9/11.Like that`s going to mitigate his collusion on lying us into this war.

The Dems, and America WERE fooled into this war.

Remember the little vial of powder Collin Collen Powell held up at the UN?Fake.

Remember the photos of mobile weapons labs in Iraq?Fakes.
The "drawings"?Fakes

Remember the story about "yellow cake" from Niger,Africa?Fake story.(thanks to Joe Wilson, for telling the truth)

Remember the aluminum tubes from France,to be used in centrifuges?Fake.

Remember the supposed links of Iraq and al-queda?All fake and made up.

Remember bush claiming that Saddam had thrown the UN weapons inspectors out of Iraq, when they said themselves, that they weren`t thrown out. Some were still in Iraq, the day bush started bombing.Lie...

I heard interviews with them, talking about being in Baghdad, watching the night sky light up.Scott Ritter ,also countered everthing the bushies were saying.

This is all on bush....

with the mob mentality the dems had to vote for it then. at that time given the so called "facts".

whenever you are in doubt - touch bases with an old timer. they have more wisdom then you and i.

in the words of "J"- when i asked her opinion... her reply. "they are all a bunch of crooks".  oh how i love when my old friends from Chicago come to the point!

[he who forgets history is doomed to repeat it]
