Take down bondage (from what I understand) is forced rope bondage. The book Shibari You Can Use by Bridgett Harrington (Sold at Twistedmonk.com) mentions it in the eight page teaser available on the authors website.
http://www.bridgettharrington.com/shibari.htm

Hope that helps. :)

It's fun. And easier to start off with leather or handcuffs-then go to rope.

Cool link-thanks. Our local club here "the wetspot" has a presenter who teaches shibari, right up through suspension. I know some of the more common static ties-have used them quite a bit.......but I think it will be fun to learn to be a more competent rigger. I usually just make my own custom leather restraints for people I play with.

The hojo jutsu like practice of using the rope to take a person down, is also found in real Hapkido schools.
