I'm glad to see Laura Nyro nominated [:)]. While there are others "greater" as far as success, she wrote and sang some great stuff!

She was an incredible song writer, wasn't she? "Stoned Soul Picnic", "Wedding Bell Blues", "And When I Die", "Eli's Coming", "Stony End".... I know it's a "greatest" vocalist thread, but I wanted her on here.
