I can't say I have much sympathy for him. If you stick your hand in a fire enough times, sooner or later you will get burned. I said the same thing when Dale Earnhardt died. There is no reason to do the things these men do. It doesn't advance our culture or science. People like that are only out to advance their own egos. They are no more tragic than someone who dies bungee jumping, skiing, or skydiving. The Civil Air Patrol and the National Guard are now spending thousands of dollars and risking their lives to go looking for this asshole. It's just like those morons who get caught in avalanches. They do something incredibly stupid, than risk the lives of others who have to come save them. Later on if they are lucky, they sit in front of a row of cameras and smile like they are heroes. It makes me sick to my stomach. Screw these people.

I can see the point of the above post, BUT - personally, I think it's sad, and hope he is found. He took a risk, no doubt, but I don't think that is any reason someone should necessarily die if they have an accident. People probably take a bigger risk driving their cars in everyday Interstate traffic. They're still, IMO usually sad (and possibly) dead when something happens like this - and that something is called an accident. - Susan

I hope they find his body for his family. Everything surrounding the crash or whatever happened does not appear to be good. Unless of course he disappeared because he wanted to.
