There's an MMORPG thread on here which reminds me of a scene from the end of a game called "EverQuest".
A vampire, Mayong Mistmoore, created a demi-plane in his quest for perfection. Adventures- the actual players of the game- eventually slay him (or maybe could; it's a rather difficult task). Upon his death..quote:

I told you that I would be the victor of this encounter, regardless of the outcome.

The focused devotion and attention you demonstrated here have lent strength and credibility to my divinity.
You have unwittingly worshipped me, and you have martyred me.
In another thread, I was just about to post that I sense only malice in your political views. I cancelled the comment, thinking it was best to ignore it. But, I must tell you; this sort of whining only lends strength and crediblity to the authority of a man you're unwittingly worshipping.
Anyhow. Enjoy praising him, watching his every move with more focus and devotion than a lover could ever hope for. ;)
Excuse the sentiment if it's.. harsh.. but I hope you see just how senseless this is becoming.
