What makes a great professional dominant includes all of the great qualities mentioned in the posts above, and the ability to walk away from any client or job when she wishes to... So a good deal of the "do it or phuck off tude." in my opinion.

In answer to your question I can only give my experience/opinion about a one time visit with a Pro.

I felt I got real lucky with my choice!

After initial email conversations she set up a lunch/interview date and we met and chatted some. I was nervous as hell and it showed but when I got home she had left me an email stating I'd been "accepted" for a session so we proceeded to set terms and a date. We spoke of some fantasies/kinks and she'd mentioned some electro play which I said "NO WAY!" She told me that I WILL do electro play!

So I nervously show up on time for my session (3 hrs worth) and she made me feel as relaxed as could be expected for my very first (and only) experience and my fears started to subside some. She threw in some laughter and acted completely normal and proffessional but added some personality and warmth to the session. For a biz transaction she seemed to make it not quite so business like? I was NOT in control by being the customer but she did understand my fantasies and kinks as I understood them at that time in my life? She somewhat directed the session to my fantasies but not entirely. She ran me through various activities and had me scared to death when I was blind folded/shackled and she was hooking up something to my cock which I sensed was the "electro" part of some cbt. I was dreading this part of the session for days after she'd informed me that I WOULD be doing the electro play whether I wanted to or not!

So to sum it all up I would have to say that imho a GREAT pro would have to be attractive physically to me and skilled in her trade/experience. She'd have to be personable and understand her clients needs, experience, fantasies, etc and be able to work the session around these needs but remain dominant and in control at the same time.

My experience was great as far as having an understanding Pro... thank god! She helped me understand things about myself. She helped me learn that my perceptions or fantasies were nothing like the reality of the physical play part? She helped me understand from the experience that I need the emotional/mental aspect of D/s way more than the physical play part of it.

She read me like a book and used that information to make my first experience a very positive learning experience and I thank her for that!

It was a biz transaction but I came away from it learning alot about myself. Will I ever visit another Pro....???? No way in hell...!!! At the time it was great but I also learned I need more.....

PS.... I felt I got WAY more than my moneys worth and we had a hell of a laugh after the session about the electro portion of the session....

I am not and could never be a pro-domme, but I have the utmost respect for pro-dommes because they provide a service to sub males who may have no other way to satisfy their kink. Without these ladies there are many MANY people who would never get to experience this lifestyle real time. These are wonderful skilled women and they are worth their weight in gold. Much love to all of you pro-dommes.
