Well I live in Omaha, Nebraska, so maybe that explains it. We are not exactly the mecca of all that is cosmopolitan here (although it's not as barren of culture as some might think).

I have seen nice strip clubs in Las Vegas (the only place I ever really had an oppportunity to be inside of a nicer one). I am sure they exist, I just haven't been to many strip clubs in general.

Warren Buffett lives here in Omaha - maybe we can convince him to fund a classy new strip club here, since he is the world's 2nd wealthiest man (but maybe not. He just got married last year, hehe. I am not sure his new wife, Astrid, would appreciate it).

But I am not against all strip clubs. I just didn't want caitlyn to feel taken advantage of - but if she's fine with it, then hey, I hope she has a good time.

i like the part  that he took you to cool places. enjoy that.

I don't have a problem with strip clubs per se, especially an upscale one.  But "always" being taken to one at the end of a date, instead of sometimes being taken home for a special romantic evening of our own, well, that would bother me. 

I would start to wonder, can this guy get it up any other way but by having strippers crawl all over him and his date? 

If it's fine with caitlyn and what she wants at this time in her life, then it's fine with me.  But if he's someone she's hoping for any kind of a future with, then I'd be concerned.  (Sorry, caitlyn, don't mean to talk about you like you're not here [;)] )

LOL, I worked a long time in Omaha, Lady Fannie, and it is a barren culture.  Word!

mnottertail: You did? It's a small world, as they say! Well, no high class strip clubs here. And I admit it was pretty "barren" up until at least the mid-70's (accordining to my standards anyway - until then there were only 2 decent Malls in town, hehe)

But hey - we have a decent art museum, and a world-class zoo, a ballet and an opera company, and lots of spiffy steak-houses here.

Yes!! There is nothing like an Omaha steak. Mmmm Yummy.
Glad I am not a Vegetarian - what a waste that would be - living here.

I used to go on Minnesota vacations near Lake Ottertail as a kid - we went to a restaurant called "Barky's" close to a town called Perham. I enjoyed those vacations thoroughly.

Barky's resort is still there, and Perham is too, you were right next door to me, pop by the house and I will beat you up next time you are in town.

Since the problem seems to be all sorted and I wouldn't understand the situation anyway I would just like to say that while stripping is OK lap dancing can be very tacky IMO, especially when the women sometimes get very aggresive if they are touched.
Thats what I've heard anyway.

Similarly never get in the ring with a lady wrestler, its an absolute cert she will do something that hurts.
I heard about that too.

I dated someone who frequented a certain gentleman club.  They all knew his name.  We used to go all the time and I always had a good time.  At first I was a lil freaked out cause they knew him too well I thought.  At first he did ask me if I minded if he went, I being the sweet girlfriend I am I said no.  We no longer date cause he is a jerk off..but that is another topic.... good luck caitly and have fun

I think he's hoping to work you up to girl on girl action by starting off with you being played with and not yet having to reciprocate. Decide for yourself if watching is as far as you want to go or if you might want to go farther and then communicate your limits to him.

OOOh. Now that does make sense. I'm concerned about the getting shitfaced all the time, but Houston has some very nice stripclubs to be VIPs for, so if you're enjoying it, and it's not taking away from the budget, have at it!  Lot hotter chicks to feel up and watch there than at most kinky parties.

Hey, I never thought I was going to make twenty-one, so I have to enjoy it at least a little. [;)]  I do try to limit myself to either Friday or Saturday night, now that class has started.
 
The guy has a great job ... I'm pretty sure he isn't a dealer. I haven't seem him do drugs, as a matter of fact, he pretty much nurses two or three beers all night. Illegal drugs of any kind are a big no-no for me. I'll pop a 'scrip' once in a blue moon, but all else is off limits. I have nothing against it, but the people that pay my tuition are completely against drugs, and abiding their will, matters to me.
 
Back to the strip club ... I can accept that it's disfunctional, but a lot of fun. What I'm wondering now, is if his thought is that I will eventually pick up one of these dancers. I might be able to make that happen ... I have all my teeth and work out a lot. An alternative plan is to suggest that we go to a club with male dancers. I'm not sure I'm that evil ... ok, thats bullshit ... I'm pretty sure I am. [;)]
