Throughout our history, those who have feared the unknown have desperately named it god, or magic. Those who have not feared the unknown have asked "What is that and why does it happen?". In terms of psychics, what is that and why does it happen has led us not to supernatural powers, but to psychology.

Status: offline 		Why is it that empaths always seem to be the ones most upset and annoyed when other people are NOT empathic?  You think they'd be more patient, understanding and helpful than anyone.  Instead they get upset when others aren't like them and don't do things the way they want.

No, MadRabbit, i did not say that.  What i said was....there are people who believe and people who don't.  Many on here are trying to connect with things they believe in....yet you have the "non-believers" who keep trying to push the point of non-belief.   
 
I wonder....why is that?  They need proof of something?  But nobody is saying they have proof that they need to defend their point.  They are saying that people who know them , just know.  You want to keep arguing that point?
 
All i am saying is....yes, start your own thread of "non believers" and .....have at it!

You're being a little bias here. He said more than that, he implied that people who believe in "things unkown" and ascribe religous or psychic explanations do so out of fear. People who don't fear "things unknown" - these brave and superior people use science and logic to unravel the mysteries and it all eventually leads to psychology (the last bit i totally don't get)

The psychology part was implying that people have these "visions" or other psychic sentiments as a result of their psycology (or will to believe in this sort of thing) and not actual supernatural powers.

Assuming I interpreted it correctly.
