Well, I am insulted he cares so little, he couldn't even get his STAFF to properly release this PR message. I would have been LESS offended if he didn't even bother with the phony message, rather than caring so little as to not even get the right week of the year.

Usually, greeting cards and messages are sent out the week before the event. Waiting until the exact day is considered rude, as people are usually too busy with celebrations to read mail or check websites. If I were really organized, I'd have all my Christmas cards done up now, and ready to be sent out, like my annoying co-worker does.
