I'd never be with a guy who dresses like a shlump in public.

I used to wear a suit to work 5 days/week and sometimes 6. Good tailoring makes all the difference in the world, even in an inexpensive suit; especially at the shoulders and behind the neck. Add the right amount of tuck at the the waist, plus hem the arms & legs, and one can usually make any suit look pretty good. If you're tall like me, getting enough rise in the seat of the pants can be a real problem though. Yet, one can still usually take a "cheap" suit and make it look great with a decent tailor, saving a lot of money in the process.

All that having been said, I'm very glad I no longer have to wear a suit and tie every day and that it's now a rare occasion instead!

Tailoring: absolutely. When Matt needed a suit, he could have gone to a number of places here in town and picked up "a suit" - but it was well worth the hour drive to go see the tailor I really like. Even a place like Kuppenheimer or Mens' Wearhouse or Hudson's will offer some tailoring - it it makes a huge difference in how you feel while wearing it. And when you feel better, you look better and more confidence.

Then again, this is coming from a man who owns a tuxedo (did the math - for 3 rentals, I could own).

yes Kilts are nice as long as they have manly muscular legs. if his legs were prettier than mine then i may never wear a skirt again lol. Anyway, suits rock because they exude power. i am also partial to Uniforms as long as its not a janitor one. hmmm, scratch that maybe janitor could work too! lol schoolgirl meets man with big broomstick um...ok i am outta here.
