MadameMarque -> RE: First kiss (9/14/2007 4:24:02 AM)

I had the oddest experience, not too awfully long ago. I don't mind making the first moves; I enjoy it. However, this is balanced against allowing the other person to court and pursue you, as well. The first time necking with this "person of interest," we spent a long time at it. The one thing I noticed, which I wondered if I imagined, at first, was that every time he might have kissed me directly on the lips, he seemed to avert his mouth. Yet, other than that, he was avid. At first, because I had been rather forward, at the beginning of our acquaintance, and because things were moving rather quickly, I wanted to allow his desire to overcome his inhibition, and for him to dare to kiss me, on the mouth. But this didn't occur, during quite a long session. I felt, if he has an aversion to kissing on the mouth, let him tell me, or perhaps it's so intimate to him, that he's not ready. Or maybe he's trying to tease me, to induce me to be more forceful, with him? I just proceeded as intuition dictated. It was only after we stopped, for the moment, and calmed ourselves, a bit, and talked, later, that he told me. He had been advised by someone else never to be the first one to kiss (to kiss the dominant, I presume). I said, "You mean we're suffering someone else's bad advice?," which was funny, to realize. I notice constantly, on this forum and on the main CM site, that people tend to underestimate how hard many other people are trying, doing their best to navigate new waters, to understand what is expected of them, and what works. It's all about love. Even the lust, the perversion, the power and the torture-in that moment, you share yourself with someone, they share themselves with you. And kissing is divine. "G. caught the ruddy, laughing face, in his hand, and suddenly kissed him, before he could be shrugged off. Releasing him as quickly, G. watched the smile fade from the blushing face, and his gaze lower, as the shyer boy absorbed his attention." - from Untitled, by H.M.
