One can actually take a training collar (the one with the remote) and modify it slightly so that it will deliver a shock for "barking" (or other sounds) as well as when the person with the remote pushes the button. If you modify it in this way, you can also dictate how sensitive to sound it is (i.e. it can be set to deliver a shock for only loud noises, or both loud and soft), and if you really want to get carried away you can even modify it so that it is sensitive to a particular frequency range (e.g. only low frequency "barks" intiate a shock). Anyway, I don't know if this is any help to you since you have already purchased a bark collar, but I thought I would put it out there in case anyone is interested. I have actually done this; so if anyone is interested in the details of how this can be done, I would be happy to explain what I did.
