Status: offline 		Completely inspired by a post on the Ask a Mistress forum, I wanted to bring the topic here.  I was very suprised to find so many of the women who responded to have a negative outlook on spit.  I would have expected the opposite.  Additionally, there was more discussion of the safety involved (in terms of STD's) which doesn't usually apply to closed clean couples.

I know I should have just posted there, but I wanted to see what other men thought about saliva and spitting (in a sexual sense or not, whatever.) Of course, everyone is invited to post, but the Ask a Mistress forum didn't have enough male responses to keep me entertained.

Status: offline 		While I can't recal him actually spitting on me on purpose, he has only allowed me to have water during a scene if I took it from his mouth.  Anytime I was thirsty, I had to lay on the floor and he would take a drink and then spit the water in my mouth.  It was a very primal play anyway and that just added to the energy.

Status: offline 		I spent some time with a submissive who loved being spit on during scenes. It wasn't necessarily my thing, but I can't say it wasn't any fun at all. I suppose it falls under the category of minor interests.

As far as health concerns go... well, I won't say it's a no-risk activity, but it's pretty damned low. At least if you're dealing with two (or more) healthy individuals.

Status: offline 		i was gonna go somewhere else with the last time someone spit on me then i had a memory file pushed to the front cause the last time someone spit on me it was right before he shoved his cock in my ass...i guess it depends on where....cause the last time someone spit in my face, i blacked out and came to with my hand around his throat and he was a nice shade of violet....(i was 12...a lot happened that year)....and intent...and lots of other things...not really sanitary so much, unless you've been licking public door knobs or something like that....eww....and then i won't even kiss you until you've made friends with the listerine....but i've read and heard that you would have to drink obscene amounts - like gallons - of saliva from an infected person to possibly contract HIV...so...yea....thats another big, eww

Status: offline 		Spitting tends to hit that "bad behavior/degradation" nerve in a lot of females, so they want to avoid it.  And a lot of people dislike "mess" so the avoid it for that also.

Why does spanking a woman hit the "Oh yes!" button and spitting hit the "Oh no!" button?  I have no idea, but I think some of it is social conditioning, some is physical happy chemical response and some is the type of immediate behavior.  There's a lot of flexibility in how you give a spanking, while spitting is pretty much a quick and dirty thing with not much variation to it.

Spitting is typically thought of as crude, rude, and disgusting behavior, which is why people probably why it has such a bad rap.  But this is the precise reason why it effects me as it does - it's that humbling thing, that feeling teeny tiny small before him thing.  The first time he spit on me (in the face) I was shocked (and he got the idea from me, a few weeks earlier, believe it or not) and it instantly put me on the edge of an orgasm.  The last time he spit on me he pryed my mouth open and hit his target.  It was amazing.

Saliva is saliva, in my opinion, whether you get it by being kissed or sprayed
