Ok following on from my post a few months ago about the spider in my living room that wanted to kill me i have a new spider crisis!!
Despite 'therapy' from a very kind Dom resulting in a stiletto and a rendition of insy winsy spider i am still petrified of them [:'(]
Well to get to the point my very kind [:@] child and her friends found two dead (debatable) spiders in the bath so they put them in my mouth wash glass in the bathroom. Follow some hearty screaming on my part and near trouser wetting.
Three days later the spiders are still in the glass and i cant bring myself to flush, bin, get rid of them. I am convinced they are just holding their breath and waiting for me to release them so they can gang up on me and eat me alive.
Someone help please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [:o]

You can do this... those spiders should be punished for holding their breath for that long anyway. Take enough wadded bath tissue to fill the glass, keeping the spiders pinned to the bottom of the glass. Carry the glass over to the commode... no, the spiders won't jump out, or chew through the paper, or eat the glass... turn the glass upside down, and pull on the wadded tissue until everything slides out into the bowl. Quickly flush.

I'm not at all unsympathetic, missturbation, I'm really not because about 2 weeks ago a spider tried to swallow me in the basement and I only escaped by leaping onto the dryer where it held me at a stand off until my son came and rescued me with a soccer cleat. However, "insy winsy?" I thought it was "itsy bitsy..."

If you dare get close enough to the glass, blast them with some hairspray.......that usually gums them up pretty good.....long enough to be able to get the glass in a bag to dispose of them.  Otherwise, get hold of the culprits who left them for you, and have THEM take care of them for you!

Of course, the glass is also history as far as I'm concerned.....spider cooties!  E-W-W-W-W-W-W!!!!!  I'm right there with you Miss......the only good spider is a dead, smashed-into-a-grease-spot spider!!!!!

omg!!! ya'll are killing spiders?!?! don't you know what the spiders eat? every little flying insect that comes its little webby way....i'll take one spider vs hundreds of moths and flies and mosquitos...but....do what you want...

my ex roommate killed every spider she saw. i would rescue those i found and release outside. she gets bit every day i never get bit

Those who put them there are those who must remove them.

My son's fourth grade teacher gave them plastic bugs for doing well. After you had earned five ants you then earned a spider. There were plastic creepy crawlies all over the house. Imagine me screaming and hitting these things with shoes while a small person is yelling 'No, Mom, they're mine". And in the laundry machine because he left them in his pockets. I'm just very grateful that he didn't do well enough to be awarded a plastic snake at the end of the year. Myself, I think that old fashioned gold stars are much better rewards.

It's all a trick! Those spiders ARE alive and they want to kill you. As long as you stare at them they will not move. Just keep staring and everything will be okay.

i can't suck spiders into vacuum cleaners (i have one of those cyclonic vacuum cleaners). theymight survive the spin cycle and then crawl out and find the person who sucked them in and pay me back.

Our daughter is deathly afraid of spiders so we bought her one of these bug vacuums.  She sucks it up and gives it to us to dispose of outside where it can continue catching other bugs for us.
