I have recently cut a submissives hair, at her suggestion as punishment. It was clearly a huge turn-on for her and I was surprised at how hot it made me. I am wondering how many women have this fantasy/reality and if many other Doms have used this punishment.

Haircutting is hot. I like to cut hair. And when he lets it get 'out of control', i clipper the lot off! Its not punishment, it powerplay. Its fun. Similarly, i can perform this as a service, and enjoy that immensley too. Two entirely different ways of playing with the same material i guess. As a punishment, its awfully hard. And that is what makes it hot. But a fantasy punishment. Like 'your a bad girl, im going to spank your bottom' sort of punishment. Cute. Flirty. I like it. But im not really into punishment. It suck on all sides as far as i can see for myself. But that's just me.

Most punishments turn on the subs I have been with. That's kind of part of the deal.

EEEEEEEK, not the hair sorry ... no turn on and I think I would be out of there, I would have want to have done something really horrific like "THOU SHALL NOT HEAD BUTT SIR" type thing for that to be anywhere near deserved. I have really fine hair that has taken forever to grow and at 45yrs of age I am not starting again ... also I look like a ferret with short hair lol ... even a bit butchy to be honest ... no ... no ... no .... cutting my hair makes me shiver just to think about it . I repeat EEEEEEK

several years ago i had a ritual 'head shave'... this was not done to punish or humiliate... and actually proved to be a huge stepping stone wihin my submission...and ultimately very empowering. also spawned my current look...chic and a tad edgy! odal 'the friend's thou hast, and their adoption tried, grapple them to thy soul with hoops of steel'. i cant think of anything so horrible that would cause Master to punish me in such a way. i dont think i would ever get over it. the only way i wouldnt mourn the loss of my hair forever would be if i had to have life saving treatments that would cause it to fall off i was born with over 4 " of hair and had to have bangs cut in the nursery. my hair is part of me i just dont know how i would react to such a thing.

I'm in agreence here ... no touchie the hair! Not to cut it off at any rate. Cant imagine doing anything worthy of such a punishment.. twisted

Having my haircut would be a punishment for my Daddy not for me... he loves my long hair, and everytime I even mention the hairdressers I get the look followed by ... "Trim Only kittin."

HARD limit!!!! Sir has forbidden me to cut my hair except for trims. he was gleeful last night in that my hair now is long enough to reach over my shoulders....it grows exceedingly slowly and is a source of frustration to me nearly daily kitten, whose Sir is happy she is controlling the urge to just cut it anyway

As a punishment, no, I would never do that. But as a sign of submission, for our third year as owner and slave I buzzed all of Fox's hair. I actually gave him a choice -- buzz hair or ear pierced, he choose the hair. It was emotionally very shattering for him to experience that. He cried a lot because up until that point he'd been growing his hair out a bit as a sort of freeing himself from parental expectations. However I honestly dislike long hair on anyone I'm involved with other than myself -- male or female doesn't matter to me. While it was very emotional for us it also deepened our Ds dynamic because we took a lot of time to talk and reaffirm his continued attractiveness and usefulness to me. He now keeps his hair shorter but not buzzed. And as for the piercings, we got both his ears done to mark our 7th year.

personally it wouldn't do a thing for or to me...when i was young i was forced to have my hair long, and as i got older i cut it shorter and shorter until at about 16 it was at its shortest at an inch and a half...its now around shoulder length..i want to grow it out again but its no big deal to me..actually i just want it to be long enough to french braid because i love the sensation of it being braided and i love the look...edited to add: oh and i've always wanted to shave my head, but i have a funny shaped head and i did shave just the bottom half and decided that if that was bare, i would wear hats alllll the time... but i wanted to relate two stories of fund raising hair cutting that i was honored to witness though i did not know the two people personally (however i am sure there are people around here who do) ...i am gonna make them short cause i cried then and i will cry now, they were both powerful experiences...and these are my interpretations of the events so, if i get details wrong..whoops.. the first one was a man who decided that it was time to cut off the hair he had been growing since his father had died, and did it in the presence of people who supported him through the rough times...not just the kinky times...but through the life times...the leather community...and i got to stand not too far from the actual head shaving and feel the healing energy pouring off everyone...(there was more shaving that happened later but some gay leather men think girl parts are contageous or something) the second one was when a slave felt that her hair had become a source of false pride...and with her Master's permission and the support of the leather community she had someone cut her hair off after a certain amount of money was raised to donate and her hair was given to locks of love...it was a moment of true pride from her Master and support (again) from the community... i know this is not what the thread was about...but...i wanted to share it anyway so [sm=mrpuffy.gif] take care chelle

on the whole, you can't enjoy punishment law of the land thing.... punishment for me is a bad thing...bad bad bad... but...i know this couple...that he deliberately sets her up to fail so that he can "punish" her....is it bad? well, it works for both of them, so nope, not bad...they both get off on it....and he doesn't have to punish to play, its just the way they play together...he has beat on me before, he is a great top, i got off to it lots of times (before she got jealous that he was playing with me at every party, but thats another post) ttfn chelle...who wants a kitty smiley...where do you put in the requests? Geez, the things you don't know you have to say are limits.... no, I don't want my hair cut as a "punishment". And I sure wouldn't get off on it. I'm not one to get off on any kind of punishment, though, that goes against the whole concept for me. If it rocks my world, it's fun! [:D] No disparagement intended for those who would enjoy from either side, just another of those things it wouldn't have occurred to me to say.

Most women have huge esteem issues connected with hair-it would depend on how far out of the box she was.

There is nothing as non-feminine as short hair. I wouldn't cut my hair (or style it differently) for a man. He would obviously want me for my already femininity and ability for style. Or the opposite, I wouldn't date someone with long (over inch and a half at max) hair, facial hair. If he changed that at a later date, it would turn me off, so he best know that beforehand lol.
